Worst is yet to come

Chapter 17

The first few hours of the flight went better than everyone had ever expected. The most injured ones, a.k.a. Namjoon and Jungkook, were well marinated in painkillers with the help of the doctor that was flying with them, so the two barely felt any pain and were constantly dozing off as a side effect of the medicine. And the third member that was being watched closely by the doctor was Taehyung, the boy that was sleeping in the back of the plane were a normal sized bed was set up. Being sick and the long drive to the airport had exhausted him so much that he was deep asleep without any help of medicine, so the plane was pretty quiet right now. Which was something new for BTS.

'Eat?' Hoseok tried to signal to Yoongi so he didn't need to use his voice to communicate with the rapper and accidentally wake up the maknae who was sleeping next to him. Jungkook was automatically the most adorable member of the group due to his age, but somehow he looked even cuter when he wasn't feeling well and snuggled up to his side to seek comfort. His round cheek was being pressed against Hoseok's bony shoulder while silent breaths escaped his pouting lips, while his tattooed right hand was still holding on to his sweater to make sure that his hyung wasn't going anywhere in his sleep.

"Hyung" Hoseok whispered when Yoongi didn't see him waving to try and get his attention, so when his second attempt also didn't work, he grabbed one of his EarPods and threw it to him.

"Ophff" the oldest rapper grunted and rubbed his forehead where the small object had crashed and looked around him to see who the culprit had been. "Hoseok?! Wtf!"

"Shush!!" Hoseok immediately silenced him and pointed at Jungkook's and Namjoon's sleeping forms. "Don't wake them" he whispered.

"Why did you hit me?!" Yoongi hissed as he was still clearly not amused and continued to rub the small red spot that had formed on his head. Okay, maybe Hoseok could have thrown something that was softer or maybe aim a little lower so it hadn't hit his head, but it wasn't like he had many options. He was stuck and paralyzed since Jungkook was holding onto half of his body, and he only had his EarPods and iPad within arms-reach. And throwing an iPad wasn't any better...

"I'm hungry, can you give me something to eat?"

"Oh, okay" thankfully, the rapper was soon forgotten his anger when he noticed Hoseok's situation and immediately stood up to go to the small kitchen at the front of the plane. It was actually brave to call it a kitchen since it had only a few drinks and small snacks, but then Yoongi found a secret cabinet filled with instant noodles. He grabbed one of them and turned around to show it to the other, who was already nodding his head eagerly. Koreans and their noodles...

He took a few steps forwards to see if Seokjin and Jimin wanted to have some noodles as well and softly tapped the eldest's shoulder to get his attention since he was wearing headphones while watching a movie on his iPad. Yoongi said nothing to keep the plane quiet and showed the pack of noodles to him, smiling when Seokjin nodded his head rapidly. "Is he asleep?" the rapper did whisper and motioned with his head to the member lying next to him. Jimin's chair had been pushed back so he was lying almost horizontally and it was hard to see if he was awake since he was lying on his side with his head turned to the window.

Seokjin removed his headphones and put it on the table in front of him, and leaned over Jimin's form to look at his face "Yeah sleeping" he whispered when he saw the closed eyelids.

Nobody had to check if Namjoon was sleeping because the loud snores told enough, so Yoongi only needed to check on Taehyung. With careful steps he moved closer to the bed and peaked his head around the curtain to check on the second youngest. The boy did appear to be sleeping at first sight, but he did turn and toss a lot, so Yoongi sat down on the edge of the bed and placed a hand on his shoulder.
