Day 25: Waiting For One Another
Branch waits for Poppy who is taking forever to get ready for a party they are going to.

Branch couldn't believe that his plan to have Poppy ready for a Party on time has failed. Usually Poppy is always ready for a party but ever since they've been married she wants to spend time with him more.

So now it was his job to remind her they need to go somewhere. They were going to Satin & Chenille's grand opening party for their new boutique that they just opened up a week ago and Poppy is supposed to officially do her usual ribbon cutting routine to officially declare that it was in business.

"Honey, we've got to leave soon or we'll be late." Branch announced to Poppy who was currently getting ready in their shared bathroom. "I'll be out in a few minutes." Poppy answered. Branch deep down knew she wouldn't be out in a few minutes. "I don't believe you." He playfully teased her. "I don't believe me either!" Poppy responded to his teasing.

Since he was bored waiting for her he decided that he wanted to make conversation with her since he loved hearing the sound of her beautiful voice that he loved hearing every day. "So what dress have you picked out for this event?" He waited for her to answer his question. He couldn't tell if she had heard him because she hadn't answered in the first few minutes but eventually she did.

"Let's just say that it's perfect for the event but it's also pretty short just the way you like it." He was glad that she was in the other room because he was as red as a tomato. "Well I can't wait until I can take it off you later." He heard her laugh. "As much as I really enjoy that, I think that I might need Satin and Chenille to make me more outfits because do you know how many dresses you ripped right off me at this point? Because it's a lot mister!" Branch chuckled a bit. She wasn't lying about that at all. "I don't regret it one bit." Poppy let out a snort as she laughed. " I know you don't and I kind of don't mind one bit." Deep down he knows that he drives her crazy and she enjoys being around him all the time.

The couple had spent the next few minutes having a conversation through the other side of the door until she was finished. He quickly gets up and makes his way towards her to get a good look at her. "You look amazing as always Poppy." He said twirling her around so he can see all of her. Poppy laughed at her husband's reaction. "Yeah I get it, You think I'm hot." They shared a kiss before leaving to go out. "Are you ready to go now?" Branch asked holding his arms out for Poppy to take. Poppy smiled at him and held onto him. "Now I am." The couple made their way outside to start off their day.
