The Day Branch Proposed to Poppy.
A sequel to The One I love

Poppy made her way to Branch's Bunker. She was super tired. She had a meeting with Sky Toronto as they were preparing for another snow day that was scheduled for the next week which took up the whole day to plan.

All she wants to do is go home so she can take a shower and maybe snuggle with Branch, something she looks forward too after a long day.

Poppy sighed making her way down the elevator she can smell what seems to be her favorite food. Once she got off she looked around as the place around her was dark without her boyfriend in sight. She was worried something bad happened.

Branch?" She called out to him waiting back for an answer. "In the living room!" She heard him call back. She was relieved that he was okay. She made her way to where her boyfriend said he was.

She was super surprised with what was waiting for her. There were rose petals spread all over the floor, candles lit everywhere, "That Part by Lauren Spencer Smith was lightly playing in the background, balloons that spelled out "Marry Me", and her boyfriend dressed up nicely smiling at her. She was getting butterflies just looking at the sight. "Come here" He said holding out his hand. She wanted to go over but she was too frozen to move. "I can't" She said timidly. "Come here" He tried again still holding out his hand while laughing at her reaction. She didn't realize she was crying a bit. Once she was over to him he made his move.

Poppy." He started " You’re the most wonderful person I’ve ever met.”You’re just a wonder and a real treasure." You mean everything to me and I hope you know that." "I want my best friend by my side and I want to be by yours. I want to take care of you, cheer you up, kiss you, and grow old with you." He was starting to tear up as well. He got down on one knee "Will you marry me?" He finally asked holding out the box waiting for her to answer. "Yes Branch I'll marry you!" She said wiping her tears away giving him a hug. They were both super happy how everything turned out. He put on the ring which fit perfectly on her finger kissing her hand afterwards. "You're my fiancée!" Poppy said excitedly while admiring the ring on her hand "I can't wait to tell everyone" She squealed with more excitement.

"I love you" Branch said looking at her with much more love. "I love you too." He tackled her lifting her up making her laugh before sharing a sweet kiss.
