Its just another day at lunch as always. (Bff/n) and Kōtarō had their date last weekend and it went super well. Of course it would they are literally the same person. (Bff/n) is not in any rush even though I know my brother would have already asked her to be his girlfriend. He respects that of course. I taught him well.

I'm glad one of us is doing well in that department. I'm still sinking.

Akaashi and I are still kind of rocky. We just don't talk like before or act the same around each other and it really sucks.

I'm not ignoring him anymore but I'm also not making an effort any longer. I didn't even start whatever is going on between us.

I can't even start to describe how much this sucks. I can tell he is tiptoeing around me.

The bell rings and as I start to get up, Akaashi extends his hand to help me.

"Can I walk you to class (f/n)?" He asks, meeting my eyes for the first time in a while.

"Okay." I will try to hear him out.

We start walking and I can just feel the tension surrounding us.

"What's up?" I ask.

"I'm sorry. I got too much in my own head and I caused everything. I don't want to be this way with you. I would like to go back to the way things were." He fidgets with his fingers. unsure of how I'll react.

"I appreciate the apology. Why didn't you just talk to me? I am so confused as to what happened." Genuinely.

"I just didn't want things to change and well since that happened already there's no use in telling you now. Can we please just move on?"

"Because I miss you so much, we can."

He smiles and drops me off in-front of my classroom. I'll see him at volleyball club later.

I think it's pretty obvious that I was just over the whole situation. Walking on eggshells around anyone is just not my cup of tea, especially Akaashi.
