            “SO, GAME KA?” James, my classmate, asked me.
 
Obviously, they have been pestering me since this morning. They want me to come with them like I usually do, but hello? Change of priorities. Boyfriend ko na ngayon ang priority ko, as I should.
 
“James, I really can’t,” malungkot ko silang nilingon. Some of them rolled their eyes, which I completely understood.
 
“Sobrang strict ba ng boyfriend mo na kahit kaming mga kaibigan mo, hindi ka niya pinapayagan? Ang toxic naman niyan, Asia?” Krizzy said, then rolled her eyes.
 
“No! Actually, he’s busy… ako lang yung gustong pumunta sa office niya—” 
 
“Seriously? What are you? A dog?”
 
What?! I just want to see my boyfriend! And Klaus has no complaints about that! Bakit ang mga ito ay meron? Sila ba ang boyfriend ko?!
 
“You—”
 
“Oh, alam kong naiinis ka na, Asia, pero understand us naman. We just wanted to spend time with you. Simula nang maging kayo ng boyfriend mo na ‘yan, ni pag seen sa GC hindi mo ginagawa. Miss ka lang naman namin,” Luke said, trying to smile.
 
I sighed. Alright! I get their point. They missed me… I know! Kasi naman! What’s wrong with me? Hindi naman ako noon sa mga nauna kong boyfriend.
 
“Okay, fine! We will go now!” umirap ako. Clearly, wala na akong takas dahil grabe na ang pangongonsensya nila.
 
We went out that night. I messaged Klaus, but he did not reply. Okay lang! Basta nagsabi ako sakanya. Kasalanan niya na kung hindi niya nabasa ang message ko.
 
Ano kayang ginagawa niya? Mula kaninang umaga hindi pa siya nagmemessage sakin.
 
I tried so hard to spend time with my friends happily, but I just can’t stop myself from thinking about Klaus.
 
Madalas ang mga modelo sa building niya, of course. Mas madalas silang nakikita ni Klaus. And mind you, they are gorgeous! Klaus might look at them endlessly.
 
“Girl! May pogi ro’n!” Krizzy pulled my jacket as she tried to point to someone who I did not even bother to take a glance at.
 
“Yeah, no, thanks,” I said, rolling my eyes.
 
“KJ mo naman!” bumusangot ito.
 
Kumunot ang noo ko sa sinabi nito. “Are you using your brain at the moment or what? I have a boyfriend.”
 
“Tss. Ewan ko sayo, KJ. Alam mo, kung hindi ka mag-eenjoy dito, umuwi ka na lang!”
 
Oh, fuck, she’s drunk.
 
“Gladly,” I said, flipping my hair as I walked out of the club. Some of our friends tried to call me, but I did not bother to look back.
 
Krizzy was being stupid there. Hindi niya pwedeng irason sakin na lasing siya or what.
 
She knows me! I can flirt whenever I want, but that was before! When I have no boyfriend yet. I can’t just flirt there, just like before! I am fucking committed, and I’m taking this relationship seriously.
 
I checked my phone when I heard it ringing. I automatically smiled when I saw who the caller was.
 
“Babe!” I happily greeted him.
 
[“Babe? Come on, Asia. How many times do I have to tell you not to use that cringe-worthy endearment?”] masungit nitong bungad.
 
I bit my lower lip. Kailan ba siya masasanay? I kept calling him with different endearments because I like calling him with those!
 
“I’m… I’m sorry,” as always.
 
I sighed. Wala na atang araw na hindi ako nag sosorry sakanya dahil araw araw may nagagawa akong ayaw niya. I always say sorry… so I can keep him.
 
“W-where are you pala, Klaus?”
 
[“At the road,”]
 
Kumunot ang noo ko sa sinabi nito. “You are using your phone while driving?!” hindi ko na napigilang mag taas ng boses dahil sa nalaman.
 
[“Why the hell are you shouting, Asia? I’m using my earpiece, okay?”] 
 
Para akong nakahinga sa sinabi nito. Well, good to know. I’m glad that he’s not that stupid to use his phone while driving. Good to know.
 
“O-okay…”
 
[“Tss. And you? Where are you? Are you done hanging out with your friends?”]
 
Oh, yeah. That. Naalala ko na naman.
 
“Uh… I’m waiting for a taxi to bring me home—”
 
[“Are you fucking nuts? It’s eleven in the evening, lady. What the hell are you thinking?”] I can sense the frustration in his voice.
 
I bit my lower lip. “Well—”
 
[“Forget it. Send your location. I’m gonna pick your ass up,”]
 
Narinig ko pang padabog niyang pinutol ang linya. Wala naman akong nagawa kung hindi ang ibigay sakanya ang location ko.
 
Galit ba siya? Okay lang kaya sakanyang sunduin ako o labag sa loob niya?
 
Tinignan ko ang suot ko. I’m wearing my ripped pants, crop top, and jacket, too. I closed that jacket hanggang sa hindi na kita ang t’yan ko.
 
“Lev!” I heard James voice. He’s walking toward me now.
 
“What do you want?”
 
“Anong nangyari? Sabi ni Kriz nagalit ka raw sakanya? I tried to look for you all over the club, but I failed. Nandito ka lang pala,” he chuckled.
 
I nodded. “Yeah. Klaus will be here, and he’ll pick me up. You know what? Just go back inside and sober up. You’re a little bit drunk, James,” I smiled at him to make sure that I was fine.
 
“You called your boyfriend to pick you up? Lev, kaya naman kitang ihatid,” dumapo ang kamay niya sa kamay ko.
 
I arched my brow and glanced at his hand on mine.
 
Naningkit ang mga ko sa inaakto niya. I knew James a not-so-long time ago. Ex ko ang pinsan niya kaya naging magkakilala kami. I thought all along, he’s just being a good friend to me, but this… I am not dumb.
 
Binawi ko ang kamay ko sakanya.
 
“Hindi tayo talo, James. A friend is a friend. I can’t even imagine myself being committed to you, a friend of mine—”
 
“Oh, come on, Lev. I know you. Even before, you were always looking at me with those sensual eyes. You can’t tell me that you can’t do the same now. Though, up until now, you’re still looking at me with those eyes,”
 
My lips parted. “What the hell are you talking about?”
 
“And committed something? We don’t need it, Lev. We can just hook up. I don’t care if you have a boyfriend. Hindi naman ako seloso—”
 
“Asia.”
 
I jumped on my place when someone called me.
 
It was Klaus! He was standing beside his car, a few meters away from us.
 
Narinig niya ba? Well, it’s not like I have a secret or what? I just don’t want him to misinterpret things!
 
“K-klaus!”
 
Seryoso ang tingin niya sakin. His eyes went to James beside me. His jaw moved. I pressed my lips together.
 
“Hop in.”
 
I looked at James first. I arched my brow at him. “Sober up.” I rolled my eyes.
 
Para akong robot na gumalaw at pumasok sa sasakyan ni Klaus. Agad din naman siyang sumunod sakin.
 
Klaus didn’t bother to talk. He just started driving. Para bang wala siya sa mood at napilitan lang na sunduin ako rito. 
 
Well, I did not force him to pick me up! It was him who insisted! 
 
“Are you okay?” hindi ko na napigilan ang sarili kong mag tanong sakanya. 
 
Well, if he’s not in the mood, then I am. I am still his girlfriend, and it is my duty to check on him kahit na naiirita siya sa presensya ko o ano. 
 
“Is that the friend that you are hanging out with?” he asked, not answering my question. 
 
I nodded. “Yes. Uhm, marami pa kami sa loob ng club. Nasa loob ang iba kanina,” I tried to explain. 
 
“Why is he with you?” 
 
I licked my lips. Right… 
 
“I don’t know. J-james was just probably drunk and needs to sober up.” 
 
Tinitigan ko siya. He’s wearing his makeup. I know. Hindi mo mahahalata sa unang tingin pero kapag tinitigan mo at kapag ganito kalapit, I can perfectly see the makeup on his face. 
 
Soft blush, low opacity of highlights, and lip gloss. I arched my brow. So, he’s busy putting those makeups on his face kaya hindi siya nakakasagot sa mga text ko kanina? 
 
Naningkit ang mga mata ko. “James isn’t that handsome, you know…” I almost whispered. 
 
He nodded. “I agree. His level can’t even reach my foot,” he said, rolling his eyes. 
 
I nodded. Good to know na hindi siya napopogian kay James. I thought kung ano ano nang tumatakbo sa isip niya, e. 
 
“He’s not that handsome that’s why you shouldn't dare hook up with him. Aside from the fact that you are committed to me, he’s not that handsome.” He rolled his eyes again habang namilog naman ang mga mata ko. 
 
What… narinig niya ba? Well, it’s not like I’m keeping it a secret or what. 
 
“Klaus—“ 
 
“Yes, I heard him earlier. How thick is his face to ask you to hook up with him with that ugly face he has?”
 
Tumigil siya sa harapan ng shop ko. Ni hindi ko napansin na nandito na pala kami. 
 
“Of course, Klaus. I would never hook up with him. He’s not my type. He’s a friend… well, before. I am no longer friends with him. I don’t want to be friends with someone who has hots for me.” I shook my head. 
 
His eyes went to my lips. Pinaglapat ko ang mga labi ko. Klaus slowly reached to my jaw. He even fixed my hair. 
 
“Yes. Kung ipagpapalit mo ako, sa gwapo naman, Asia,” he whispered. 
 
Fuck! We are having a serious conversation here, yet Klaus talks like this! Hindi ko tuloy mapigilang tumawa dahil sa sinabi niya. 
 
“What made you think na ipagpapalit kita? Klaus, ikaw lang ang gusto ko. Believe me… I like you so, so much,” 
 
I couldn’t wait for him anymore to kiss me. Ako na ang humalik sakanya. 
 
I don’t care if we’re in his car or what. No one else’s here. No one can see us.
 
I swear, Klaus’ lips were so soft. He’s a good damn kisser, too. His hands were traveling around my body, and it’s making me feel so… so hot. 
 
I parted my mouth. He entered it to play with my tongue. I fought back. I held his nape to deepen our kiss. 
 
“Fuck, Asia…” he whispered. 
 
I chuckled. “Guess who’s having a hard on now, huh?” ngumisi ako rito. 
 
He looks so turned on. He wants to fuck the shit out of me, and I will let him do it! I mean, why the hell not? This is sex! With my love… 
 
“Is there anyone in your shop?” he asked against my lips. 
 
I shook my head. “None… it’s already twelve at midnight, Klaus. Do you really think they are still working? I am not a cruel boss,” I smirked at him. 
 
He chuckled. “Then, let’s go in.” 
 
I nodded excitedly. I was about to jump out of his car when he pulled me back. 
 
“Wait, I remember…” 
 
Tumango ako sakanya na para bang naiintindihan ko ang ibig niyang sabihin kahit na hindi naman. 
 
“Alin?” 
 
“We don’t use protection. We don’t have any contraceptive,” 
 
Oh, right! How could I forget that? Well, every time I am having sex with Klaus, it is always unexpected or unplanned. How can we be safe? It’s not like laging may condom sa bulsa niya. 
 
“Don’t worry, I am safe today,” I said. 
 
He nodded. “Right. Good to know. Make sure of it, Asia. The last thing I want to happen is to impregnate you.”
