Fall of Shiganshina Part 1

1 year later 845

After a year staying with the Yeagers Y/N built a strong relationship with everyone in the family, growing a brotherly bond with Eren and a close bond with Carla due to Y/N liking to cook and a strong working bond with Grisha with Y/N working with him in the medical field. And having a strain bond with Mikasa,with the two only talking when they have a task to do when given by Carla or talking in their room when one of them was going to work on something and asking if it bothered the other. And having a good bond with Armin with the two always reading and having discussions on what's beyond the walls. And every month Y/N would leave for a week with him going on hunting trips in the forest regions of Wall Maria and would always come back with fresh meat for the Yeagers with Carla and Grisha being thankful as it meant spending less money on meat as it had began to become harder and more expensive to buy. Y/N can be seen waking up early in the morning as he quietly changed into hunting clothes before quietly kneeling in front of his bed and slowly and quietly pulling out his rifles case as he heard a noise behind him and sees Mikasa looking at him tiredly

Mikasa: Y/N? What are you doing?

Y/N: I'm going on my hunting trip. It's today, you should go back to sleep .

Y/N would continue to pull out his rifle before feeling warm as he would slightly look back and sees Mikasa hugging him causing him to become red

Y/N: M-Mikasa? W-What are you doing?

Mikasa: Please don't go today. Just stay with us today and leave tomorrow.

Y/N: I would like to but I want you guys to have fresh meat and good meals. I will send you letters if so I can tell you how my hunt goes. Is that alright?

Mikasa: Okay.

Y/N would turn around and hug Mikasa back before he walks her to her bed and lays her down before walking back to his bed and pulling out his rifle before making into the door and looking back at Mikasa with a smile

Y/N: I'll see you next week. Have a good rest Mikasa,I'll promise to send you letters on my hunt.

Mikasa: Okay,please be safe and send me how your trip goes.

Y/N would nod before closing the door and leaving a note for the others as he would head to the door and open it before looking at the night sky before walking out and closing the door. As his journey to the south side of Wall Maria to go hunt and began,he would walk for an hour before reaching the forest which he would stop for a quick break,as he looks up at the sky

Y/N: "Looks like dawn is setting. Made it on time. From what I've heard this place is perfect for hunting as there a ton of animals. Maybe I'll be able to come back home early with a couple of pounds of meat."

Y/N would walk for a bit until he would find a spot to hide his rifle case as he cautiously took out his rifle and began to inspect it to see if anything was wrong and after seeing nothing was wrong his rifle he would hide his rifle's case in a tree before setting out and beginning his hunt.

Y/N:"I hope this goes easy. Last time it was a son of bitch to kill that de-"

Y/N would spot a deer running off in the distance before getting his rifle and setting up a shot but it would disappear before he could get a shot causing him to run after the deer. Y/N would chase the deer for what felt like hours before he would take his rifle and take a shot hoping it hit the deer as he would see in the distance the deer falling over as he would smile and run faster and see the deer dead.

Y/N: Yes! That was the quickest I've killed a dear. Maybe I can get a couple more pounds.

Y/N would walk up the deer and would begin to cut the animal while checking if it had any infections or diseases and after seeing that the deer had nothing wrong he would begin to meat and wrap it up nicely and checking if any blood would leak out of the wrap and after seeing nothing came out he would put it in his small bag with a small smile
