Grisha: Take a good look, Zeke. That’s Liberio, where we live. Compared to the world, it’s like a tiny birdcage. Since we can’t leave, we have to live here till we die. Zeke, wouldn’t you want to leave?
Zeke: Yeah, I would.
A cleaner reaches the top of the building and looks at them with a smile
Cleaner: Oh, what’s this? We hardly get visitors this early. I’ll come back later.
Grisha: No, it’s fine we we’re just getting ready to leave.
The man looks at them and notices the armband
Cleaner: Oh, Eldians?
The cleaner splashes the bucket of water at them
Grisha: W-What?! We got permission to leave the walls!
Cleaner: It’s my job to clean the tower and get rid of trash. You came here and defiled it, you devils! Your kind slaughtered countless lives! Yet here you are, pumping out kids!? Leave!
Grisha glares out at the cleaner as he holds Zeke tight and grabs Dina’s hand and leave the tower and begin walking down the street as their clothes drip water
Marleyans: Devils! Stay in the internment zone! You guys stink! Thanks for ruining my day!
Grisha: Remember this well, Zeke. This is the outside world. If you don’t like it, you’ve gotta change it. Zeke, you’re going to save everyone.
Zeke clings to Grisha as tears form in his eyes
Grisha: It will all be okay, Zeke.
On a hill many Warrior Candidates run up the hill as one fails to watch up and struggles as Magath and another man watches them
Magath: What do you think, Ksaver?
Ksaver: One of these kids will be my successor?
Magath: Yes, we’ll chose one.
Ksaver: One of them is falling behind. Who’s that?
Magath: Ah. Yeager again? All the other kids are fiercely competing to be Honorary Marleyans. Yet he has no drive. Why does he even come here?
Later in the day, Grisha, Zeke, and Dina walk down the street
Grisha: How was training today, Zeke?
Zeke: It’s really tough.
Grisha: I see, but I know you can become a Warrior.
Dina: Because you have a special power.
Grisha: And most important of all, you’re our son!
The three continue walking until reaching a house as Grisha knocks as a man opens the door
Grisha: Hello. Father. Mother. Thanks for watching Zeke.
Mr Yeager: Course.
Zeke rushes inside and hugs his Grandmother
Mrs Yeager: I baked your favorite pie today.
Zeke: Yippe!
Mr Yeager: Your social dance club again? Zeke misses you.
Grisha: But it’s for the wellness of Liberio.
Dina: I’m sure one day, Zeke will understand why we’re doing this.
Grisha and Dina leave as Mr. Yeager closes the door and gives Zeke a small smile
Mr Yeager: Let’s have fun, Zeke, and then a little study.
