Utgard Castle Part 2

2 hours before the attack 

Inside the castle, everyone is setting up to camp for the night 

Henning: Someone was not too long ago.

Nanaba: This place that is close to the wall?
Lynne: Bandits probably used it as a hideout.

Nanaba: The sign in the way said “Ruins of Utgard Castle” I didn’t know there were castles around here. 

Gelgar would come in with a battle of alcohol

Gelgar: Hey, look what I found.

Lynne: You’re kidding, is that what I think it is?

Gelgar: Yeah, but I can’t really read the label that well.

Nanaba: You're not gonna drink it now are you?

Gelgar: Don’t be stupid. I’m gonna save it for later, and I’ll probably give some to Y/N as well.

Henning: Not a bad way to spend the night with all this contraband to ourselves. 

Nanaba: Careful you’re starting to sound like them.

Gelgar: I want you kids to get some rest. There shouldn’t be any Titans crawling around in these hours. We’ll take turns looking out. Be ready to leave fours hours before daybreak.

Krista: Excuse me?  What if Wall Rose didn’t fall? Wh- Where else can they be coming from?

Gelgar: ... It’s are job to find out. Starting tomorrow.

Gelgar goes up to take watch

Krista: I’m just saying the situation isn’t good, but is it as bad as we think? You never know that’s all.

Henning: She’s right. We haven’t seen that many Titans, I mean for them to bust the wall down. 

Nanaba: Only with the sighting. We aren’t entirely sure.

Ymir turns to Connie

Ymir: Conne, what about your village?

Connie: Totally destroyed. It was crushed to rubble.

Ymir: I’m, I’m sorry.

Connie: Nobody got eaten though, it looked like they got out. So there is a chance at least.

Ymir looks at Connie confused to hear his response

Ymir: I thought you said it was destroyed?

Connie: Well the house were, but the people themselves must have escaped, I mean they have to, there was no blood or sign of anything, it is the only possible explanation. Still though there's something I can’t let go of, that Titan on top of my house. It couldn’t move thankfully, but I just had the feeling of mother, am I crazy?

Reiner: Connie. What did I tell you? It was your img-

Ymir: Are you for real!?

Ymir bursts out laughing 

Ymir: You actually think your mom is a Titan!? Oh honey, as so good it is to be true, please. We all knew you were a dumb as a rock but this? This takes it to a whole new level. 

Ymir starts laughing again, with Connie getting annoyed 

Connie: Haha, Have your fun, I guess I was asking for it. 

Ymir: Don’t stop there, maybe if mother darling is a Titan maybe daddy Titan is one too. How el-

Connie loses his temper 

Connie: Okay, I get it! Shut up and go to sleep!
