In a house in Shiganshina a baby looks at it’s hand while glancing at a window, before a man picks it up and holds it close as it begins to cry as Eren and Zeke watch

Eren: This is…dad’s memories? 

Zeke: He sure looks like he’s enjoying his life. For someone who pushed his friends and his previous family into hell and left down there.
Eren: Just what are you trying to do? 

Zeke: I will show you until you understand. Just how Grisha Yeager brainwashed his son and planted those seeds of nationalism in you. For as many as it takes. 

Eren watches as his mother takes care of him as a baby as Zeke walks to a door and opens it and glares at Grisha

Zeke: Good for you, Grisha. You completely forgot about your first family that you left behind. And have a happy life while no one’s here to blame you for it. Even if you’ve completely forgotten that you had a son before. Let’s go.

Zeke walks out the door and Eren follows him as they see a older Eren learning to walk

Zeke: Next. 

Zeke walks away as the two watch over Grisha as he treats a patient from outside a window 

Zeke: Look, Eren. This is what he really is. He used his position as a doctor to get close to those with power. All to pin down the King of the Walls and steal the Founding Titan. Of course, if he slips up, his wife and son will be in danger. But he continues to take the risk regardless. Do you know why? 

Eren: Because this shitty old man was a piece of crap who would throw his family into a pile of shit to restore Eldia. I see now. I was wrong. I shouldn’t have been born. I’m free from my brainwashing now. 

Zeke looks at him surprised 

Zeke: We have all the time we need. No need to rush. 

Zeke walks away as Eren watches Zeke before glancing at Grisha. Zeke takes Eren through Grisha’s memories, before the two stop when Grisha arrives at the Reiss chapel for the first time 

Eren: No way…I can’t believe he found it so quickly.

Zeke: What’s this place?

Eren: The King of the Walls base. 

The two watch as Grisha finds the staircase to the cavern

Zeke: It can’t be. Grisha should be stealing the Founding on the day the walls were destroyed. It’s still years away.

The two watch as Grisha hesitates to enter, before he closes the hatch and leaves the chapel and goes home as he hugs a young Eren tightly, before the two go to a different memory as Zeke looks at a shelf of marked bottles in the basement as Grisha sleeps at his desk

Zeke: I see. It seems he did love his second son. Enough to put his mission as a restorationists 
aside. Nothing like what did with me. I guess he has learned from his past failure. But as a matter of fact, you do exactly like he wanted. You’re no longer your true self. You will know eventually. 

Eren looks at Grisha and looks under his arm and sees a picture of Zeke and Dina

Grisha: I’m sorry…I’m sorry…Zeke.

Zeke looks at him shocked as Grisha wakes up

Grisha: Zeke?

Grisha stands up and looks ahead

Grisha: Zeke?! Are you there?

The two look at him shocked as Grisha looks around, before sitting down
