"Wooyoung--" San runs at the speed of light into one of the hospital rooms. There's people. Quite a lot of people, including Yeosang who's hugging Wooyoung while they sat on the floor.
He was late. Way too late. Wooyoung's mom smiled sadly making his heart break. It took all the courage in him to approach Wooyoung who was still on the floor, hugging his knees.
Yeosang looks up and glares at San but he moves away knowing it was the right thing to do. "Woo..." San was being extra cautious. "San. You came." Wooyoung's voice broke and the tears didn't seem to stop. He rocked back and forth before burying his face into his knees.
San engulfed him in a hug, which resulted in him crying even more. "Shhh...baby I am here now. I am here for you." San whispered into his ears and Wooyoung hugged him back tight. "Sannie-- I--" He whimpers and something in San snapped.
He looked around the room, crammed with people who were looking at them. "Let's get some fresh air..." San whispers and pulls Wooyoung up with him. Wooyoung complies and leans his head onto his shoulders while San's hand wrapped around his waist.
They decided to go to the hospital garden, which was a pretty good place surrounded by nature. They sit on a bench together, wrapped around each other. Wooyoung buries his head into San's chest while he drew comforting circles along his back.
"You smell of alcohol and cigarettes..." Wooyoung looks up and San felt guilty. He didn't have the time to wash up after he heard the news. "You don't drink nor smoke..." Wooyoung continues but lets it go. He sits up straight, his tears finally drying.
"This is a funny situation, isn't it?" Wooyoung asks and San doesn't understand. "Huh?"
"I agreed to that stupid contract to make extra money for my appa's treatment but now..." He laughs but San knows none of it is genuine.
"This is probably it... it's time to say goodbye. I heard you got what you needed...and that you threw a VIP party at some club..." Wooyoung looks at a confused San. "News. Those people are fast at these things...pretty scary." Wooyoung continues.
"Wooyoung--" "No, it's okay San. We have always lived in two different world's and we decided it all remember?"
"What about you then?" San asks him, his head tilted. "What about me? I will go back to my cafe business...try to--"
"No. What about you and how you really feel?"
"What do I feel? Nothing really." Wooyoung doesn't look at San. "Look at me when you say that, Wooyoung." San hooks a finger under his chin, lifting it.
"San...please. I can't. Just-- just let me go." Wooyoung's eyes started to tear up again.
"No. I am not letting you go, again. I need to be here with you."
"San--" "Because I love you." San interrupts Wooyoung. He looks up and is met with San's sincere eyes.
"What...?" "I love you, Jung Wooyoung. I was a coward who couldn't admit it but now...I can't help it. I need you."
Wooyoung searched his eyes for the truth. He expected San to go "Just kidding." Doing that to Wooyoung in this situation would make San the worst guy he has ever met, officially. But he expected it.
"Wooyoung!" San shook him from his thoughts. "San..." Wooyoung still wasn't sure but San pulled him in and kissed him hard. The emotions spilled out into the kiss. Wooyoung clutches onto San's shirt, his tears sliding down the side of his face.
San cups his face, his thumb wiping Wooyoung's tears at the same time. San's hand slid onto his neck, while his other hand traveled down to his back, holding him in place.
They break the kiss and Wooyoung instantly wraps his hand around San's shoulders. His fingers tight, tears falling.
He tucks his face into San's shoulders, his whole body quivering from all the crying. San didn't say much but his eyes started to water as well, his emotions overflowing at the moment.

They reach home after the funeral. The goodbyes were easier as they had already anticipated it.
San gets out of his car before running to the other side. He opens the door for Wooyoung before supporting him to stand. The back door opens and Wooyoung's mom climbs out. San had decided to have her stay over for a while.
"Let's get you some hot dinner but before that let me run you a bath." San whispers into his ears before leaving a kiss on his forehead. Wooyoung smiles a little, seeing how San was trying to be better. "Mhmm" He hums and raises his arms.
San smiles and lifts the other up and Wooyoung wraps his legs around his waist. They enter their room and San places Wooyoung onto their bed.
He enters the bathroom and turns on running hot water, filling up the bathtub. He drops in one of his favorite bath bombs which usually helps him relax. "The bath is ready..." San says and Wooyoung raised his arms once again.
"Bathe me." Wooyoung mumbles when San starts to undress him. "You're such a baby..."
"Your baby."
"My baby."
After San washed him and dressed him up, the two cascaded down the stairs. Wooyoung's mom smiled at them as she waited at the table. San greeted her with a bow before pulling the chair out for Wooyoung to sit.
Hot soup and other Korean dishes were spread out on the table. "Eat up..." San serves Wooyoung his bowl. Wooyoung's mom watched as San fed her son.
"You guys are beautiful together..." She mumbled and Wooyoung smiles. "I am lucky to have him by my side..." San replies and Wooyoung blushes. A silence falls and the only thing heard was the sound of the utensils.
"I wanna watch a movie together..." Wooyoung mumbles but San catches it. "Sure, baby. Anything for you." San adjusted Wooyoung's still-damp hair a little as he continued to feed him.
After dinner the two were back in their room, San had prepared the place for the movie night. He had spread out blankets on the floor, next to where the huge TV was mounted. He had gotten themselves some late-night snacks and some cozy pillows.
Wooyoung came back from the bathroom and gasps at the entire setup. "You did all this for me?" He asks, his voice still weak. "Of course baby. Only for you." He pulls Wooyoung onto his lap and plays the movie Wooyoung had wanted to watch.
Wooyoung has watched this movie about a few thousand times. It was his and his dad's favorite movie to watch together. His eyes watered as he clung onto San.
He was watching his favorite movie with his favorite person right now.
