"We have heard your call, Phoenix Squadron, this Ash Squadron, and we will rendezvous at your location immediately. All ships prepare to hit hyperspace." A ship was detected leaving hyperspace by the ship's sensors as it began to activate its hyperdrive.

After the ship leaves hyperspace, it crashes into a transport and starts firing at every other ship nearby. "Abort the jump; prepare for com-" The surviving ship engaged the recently arrived enemy in combat as the commander gave his last command, but it was quickly destroyed.

The Renaissance, the now-famous Imperial Rebel Hunter ship, destroyed every remnant of the Ash squadrons. "Colonel Yularen from command has sent us a priority one call, sir." "Put it through."

"Colonel Yularen, it's been awhile." I say hello to a friend who has supported me in my career throughout my service as I make my way towards the holotable.

"Captain Kodo, it has been a couple of years, but I need your help right now in the Lothal system because there is a rebel issue that has been getting worse and growing." Colonel Yularen's voice at the time seemed frantic.

"What seems to be the issue, my old friend?" After considering the circumstances, I ordered my crew to launch the hyperdrive and make a course for the Lothal system.

"This incident has persisted for a year, and despite our best efforts, we have not been able to contain this cell, as their specific vanguard crew has killed and compromised the majority of our security."

"We dispatched Agent Kallus to handle the situation, along with inquisitors, but they too fell short, and this group of rebels repeatedly eluded our control."

"As soon as you arrive in Lothal, go meet Agent Kallus so he can brief you on the details and situation. Yularen out." After completing my personal briefing, it was time to assess the level of skill exhibited by this group of rebels. I had firsthand experience with each of them, having been the reason for many of their supply shortages, including reinforcement.

When I arrived in Lothal as usual, I went through the standard imperial checkpoint process of identification. I must urgently notify the emperor or Lord Vader to tighten security because the rebels could easily kill an officer and use their identification to pass for one of them if this level of security continues.

After arriving at atmospheric pressure and boarding a shuttle to the Imperial Complex, I was scheduled to meet Agent Callus for my briefing.

"Hello, Agent Callus, It's been awhile, hasn't it?" My simple presence startled him as soon as I entered his office.

"Captain Kodo, it's really you. I've heard that you have a reputation for tracking down rebels and dealing with them swiftly; perhaps you can do the same with these rebels."

"Would you mind giving me some background information about them before we even begin to deal with them?"

"Well, they are known as the Phoenix Squadron."

"Phoenix Squadron? Though I have never met them, I have heard them talking and have even received information about this squadron from my informants. They told me they were their reinforcements only recently, during a recent interaction with a fleet, but I don't think they will arrive."

"Well, the crew that is a member of the rebel cell is what's causing the problem in Lothal—not the fleet."

"Please provide me with information about this crew that has been causing problems."

"They are referred to as the Ghost."

"The Ghost? Please clarify who the crew members are."

"Well, to begin with, the captain's name is Hera Syndulla." Agent Kallus shows me a projection of Hera's picture as he begins his holotable.

"Hera Syndulla is the daughter of Cham Syndulla, correct?" My question immediately added the Cham Syndulla picture beside the Hera picture.

"Yes, well, there's a Lasat named Zeb." When their planet Lasan was destroyed, a Lasat may have been one of the few races to survive that refused to submit to the empire and paid the price.

"Next, there's Sabine Wren, a Mandalorian." Based on the reports I've received, it appears they have a special group that includes a weapon and bomb specialist; it makes sense that they are proficient with weapons.

"Chopper, as they call their droid, was given the designation C1-10P." An ancient clone droid may know some conventions and details about the old republic's military strategies.

"But the main problems are these two." Agent Kallus then displayed two pictures, one of an adult and the other of a teenager.

"What appears to be a problem, and what distinguishes them sufficiently to be the main issue?"

"It seems that both of them are Jedi." The Jedi are a cult of people who follow a supernatural force called the force of the light side. Originally known as a peacekeeping force, the Jedi gained a reputation as expert warriors who could hold their own against the Mandalorians.

"The younger is named Ezra Bridger, his padawan, and the elder is named Kanan Jarrus, who killed the Grand Inquisitor." Not only was this man the first person to kill a Grand Inquisitor—a feat no one has ever accomplished—but he was also a teacher. It's intriguing.

"Due to their scheming and power, many problems arose, forcing Darth Vader and Governor Tarkin to come here and personally handle them." The most infamous and inspirational admiral to have fought in the clone wars, Grand Moff Tarkin, and the most feared man in the galaxy, Darth Vader, were forced to join forces.

"What are you going to do now, Captain?" I felt a chill behind me as Agent Kallus was asking me questions about what to do next. At first, this bothered me, but I eventually grew accustomed to my fear.

"I've been informed by Admiral Konstantine that the rebels have managed to break free and avoid his blockade. Prepare my ship." Agent Kallus leaves the office and leaves me with Darth Vader.

"My Lord, it's a pleasure to finally meet you in person." Who wouldn't want to meet and collaborate with the most powerful man in the world? He is a military genius who has the ability to mercilessly destroy numerous rebel ships and colonies, much to the terror of many other rebels.

"Captain Kodo, get ready for this operation; your help is required to guarantee victory. Set out for these coordinates." He gave me the rebel cell's coordinates, and I made the decision to stop them from escaping. This meant that I would have to go a longer way, but Lord Vader would help me by waiting for me to get in position before launching his attack.
