"Wait, you guys are in love?" Nick asked Addie, after listening to her freak out about what just happened downstairs. Addie nodded, "But you guys had one date..." He trailed off, he was happy for them really, but he was worried they were moving too fast with everything going on.

Nick, Matt, and Alahna had come back upstairs shortly after Chris and Addie's confession, saying they couldn't find the extra sheets they needed. Matt and Chris had gone downstairs, while the other three went upstairs to find the sheets.

Addie also really wanted to lose her mind over Chris, but not to Chris, so she saw the opportunity and took it.

"We still have a long way to go, but I know I love him, Nick. It's always kind of been there, in the back of my mind. We've gotten so close within these last few weeks...I don't know, I can't explain it." Addie replied, a smile on her face.

"You can't put the emotion into words?" Alahna asked, making Addie nod. "Yeah, you're in love."

Nick grinned at the comment, "I'm so happy for you Ads, finally getting what you've wanted for literal years." He laughed at Addie's expense, making her roll her eyes as she looked into the cupboard, finding the sheets.

The trio made their way to the basement, finding Chris pacing and Matt watching him while snickering. Nick immediately assumed something was wrong, walking up to Chris and stopping him in his tracks.

"What's wrong?!" He shouted in his face, making Chris push him away with a glare on his face.

"Did you have to scream in my fucking face Nick?" He replied, annoyed with his older brother. "Nothing is wrong."

Nick scoffed, popping his hip to the left and resting his hand on it. "That's a lie."

Chris groaned, rubbing his hands over his face. "I just confessed to being in love, why wouldn't I be freaking out?" He finally admitted, glancing at Addie shyly before looking back at his brother.

"Oh," Nick replied, losing his attitude. "Okay."

"That's all you have to say?!" Chris demanded, throwing his hands in the air before turning around and sitting down next to Matt.

"Okay, no more arguing, it's Addie's last night for who knows how long." Alahna spoke, bringing everyone back to reality.

"Thanks, Lana." Chris huffed, patting the seat next to him so Addie would sit with him.

"No!" Nick yelled, snatching Addie's arm, stopping her from being able to join Chris. "You can't hog her cuddles just because you're in love with her." He glared at his younger brother, making him scoff in offense.

"I think that's exactly what it means, Nicolas."

Twenty minutes later, the couch and loveseat were pushed together, sheets over them so they wouldn't fully sink into the gaps. Addie insisted on putting on a movie, so if no one felt like talking it wouldn't be uncomfortable, so Inside Out was playing quietly. Addie was curled into Chris' side, with Matt right behind him. Nick had made it clear he was also cuddling Addie, and for Chris to not do any weird shit. Alahna sat next to Nick, munching on some cheese it's.

"Do you know your uncle very well?" Matt asked Addie, making her have to think about her answer.

"Yes but no, my dad was pretty close to him when we lived in California but before then I didn't know he existed." She explained, "But his now wife is cool, she's definitely going to be the cool aunt I'll always want to be." She grinned, thinking of Blakely.
