In the Surface Domain, there were no flying vehicles, and people's range of activities was limited, mostly relying on walking. However, Raina Grace was currently in such a weakened state that she could not possibly walk. Flame Wave had no choice but to summon his avian mount—a white falcon he had tamed in the Celestial Domain—to soothe it and command it to fly to where Raina Grace lived.

The falcon's speed was fast, and the distance was not far, almost arriving in the blink of an eye. However, upon reaching the destination, for some reason, it seemed uneasy and circled for a while, unwilling to land. Flame Wave, puzzled, urged the white falcon several times. It reluctantly stopped at a distance, and as soon as Flame Wave landed, it hurriedly ascended into the high sky, as if something was chasing it.

Flame Wave, without any clue, decided to put it aside for the moment and turned back to search for Raina Grace's mentioned residence. Not far away, there was a row of uniform simple buildings, which should be the place. However, the white falcon had stopped somewhat far, and now Flame Wave had to rely on carrying Raina Grace with his arms and walking with his legs.

He had not gone far when he saw a small white figure approaching rapidly in the distance. With Flame Wave's vision, he could see that it was a little girl. A simple white robe wrapped around her slender body, her black hair flying in the wind. Barefoot, she rushed into what seemed like a hunter's trap, panting and stopping in front of Flame Wave, staring at him with clear, pleading, and terrified violet eyes.

Flame Wave immediately understood her meaning, his heart twitched, and comforting words involuntarily came out, "She's okay." As soon as he spoke, he regretted it: why lie when clearly, she was close to death? Yet, the little girl breathed a sigh of relief, lowered her hand from her chest, and attempted to take Granny Rain from Flame Wave's hands. Seeing the young, tender hands in front of him, Flame Wave helplessly said, "I'll do it. You can't carry her."

Actually, Raina Grace was strong, and Granny Rain was very light, but she did not argue with the man in front of her. She just nodded and silently led the way, walking quickly, occasionally looking back with a worried glance at Granny Rain.

From her compliance and silence, Flame Wave discerned that the little girl vaguely knew Raina Grace's current situation was not good

From her compliance and silence, Flame Wave discerned that the little girl vaguely knew Raina Grace's current situation was not good. Her frantic pace and dim gaze all spoke of helplessness and heaviness. It was a gaze so tangible, as if one could scoop it up to play with, making you willing to be bound by it. Like a pool of blue water, it was something you could never hold onto—clear, crystal-like sorrow made her appear so enchantingly deep.
