Even though Raina Grace was wary of Willow Wood, his unpredictability caught her off guard. He created an energy channel capable of spatial transfer out of nowhere and attacked when she was alone; unexpectedly, she was abducted to the abyss.

"So, you've been in contact with the abyss all along? Did you orchestrate the abyss's call?" In the pitch darkness, Raina Grace recognized the familiar aura of the abyss, "Is this a gathering place for the Sky Whispers you mentioned?"

"The so-called abyss's call was merely an illusion. It's easy to implant such consciousness into the minds of those with unstable wills but overflowing desires. They weren't called to the abyss, and as you guessed, we are indeed in the abyss. As for our exact location, I can only tell you we're halfway there, not yet at our destination." Willow Wood responded patiently, "I'm telling you this to ask for your cooperation. Otherwise, I can't guarantee that I won't resort to extreme measures to force your compliance."

Raina Grace didn't know what he meant by "extreme measures," but opening a spatial channel was indeed formidable, something she'd only heard Flame Wave mention as being within the capabilities of the most advanced civilizations. The more powerful the means, the less likely they are to be used consecutively, just like how he initially planned to use the freemen as a trap. Seeing them not fall for it, he took the opportunity to target her.

"Are you really a Sky Whisper?" Raina Grace asked, noting Willow Wood had answered most of her questions except those about Sky Whispers. If Sky Whispers possessed his level of ability, they wouldn't be stuck in an identity crisis.

"The essence of a Sky Whisper is merely an energy form, which makes it easier to communicate and influence, so we're just taking advantage of this convenient condition."

So, Willow Wood was admitting he wasn't a Sky Whisper? Raina Grace's heart skipped, "You all?" indicating another deeply hidden force, not just highly intelligent but also possessing an advanced civilization, "Are you also humans?"

"Not humans," Willow Wood's tone was flat, revealing no emotion. He avoided questions he didn't wish to answer, no matter how Raina Grace prodded.

"Am I of use to you?" she changed her question.

"Yes," Willow Wood didn't evade this time.

Being useful was better than being useless... right? Raina Grace thought. But considering the Sky Whispers useful to "them" hadn't ended well, being easily communicated and influenced was where Sky Whispers could be exploited. And her? "Because I'm Ocean Bloom?"

"You're smart. Even if you're not the true Ocean Bloom."

"Not the true Ocean Bloom. Then why don't you find the real Ocean Bloom?"

"Because we can't find them," Willow Wood said, slightly irritated, "That's enough questions. Now you need to cooperate with me and move forward!"

"I am cooperating by following you, aren't I?" Walking in utter darkness, Raina Grace wondered how Willow Wood knew the way. "I'm just slow because I can't see the path."

She didn't want to confront him outright, not knowing where she was or what to do next if she escaped. While Willow Wood was sparing with words, she could still extract some information. The more she knew, the more options she had.

"Now, I'm pulling you along; you don't need to see the path," Willow Wood stated, "If you continue at this pace, I won't mind carrying you."

Raina Grace was being led by Willow Wood, not hand in hand, but with a sturdy lasso tightly wrapped around her waist, attached to a rod he held. The rod's fixed length and rigidity maintained a set distance between them, preventing escape or sudden attacks. She had no choice but to be dragged along, utterly deprived of any freedom of movement.
