Volume IV ElementalMagnetic Celestial DomainChapter 121 Wings Alignedin Flight
Scholar's Pavilion stands as the highest symbol of authority in the Celestial Domain, its architectural style embodying solemnity, majesty, and wisdom. The loft towers high into the clouds, magnificent and imposing, perched atop the peak of a mountain as if a sage overseeing the mortal realm.
The exterior walls of the pavilion are made of simple stone adorned with exquisite carvings, while rare gems and metals embedded in the doors and windows sparkle with dazzling light. The entire building exudes a mysterious and authoritative aura, as if guarding the gates of wisdom in the Celestial Domain.
Inside, the Scholar's Pavilion is suffused with a cultural and knowledgeable atmosphere. The grand hall houses valuable documents and ancient tomes, with shelves stacked full of books. The walls of the loft are inlaid with beautiful murals depicting the magical history and legendary stories between heaven and earth.
Most of these stories are not recorded in writing; some describe famous events in history, while others trace back to the scenes when humanity first arrived at Elemental Magnetic Star.
"Does that mean the Gold and Silver Seas were actually carved out by the first humans who came to Elemental Magnetic Star?"
"Legend has it. But now, there's not a single word recorded."
"Not even in Scholar's Pavilion?"
"As far as I know, among all the texts we can read, there's no record of it."
"How can that be? Such an important event. Humanity didn't leave any record?"
"Important? Perhaps the people of the past didn't think it was significant, so they felt no need to spread the word. It was just recorded as a historical event, stored in memory sticks."
"Memory sticks? What are they? Where are they?"
"In the Scholar's Pavilion. But it's no use to you, because humans have been unable to read memory sticks for a long time."
"How can that be? Isn't there any way at all?"
"I don't know. No one studies it, no one cares about it."
"No one cares? Why can someone commit evil acts and act as if nothing happened?"
"What are you talking about, Jadelle? Who did what?"
"Nothing. Big Brother Aurum, you seem a bit agitated today. Is it because of Lord Silver Wolf's return?"
"If he wants to come, let him come; if he wants to go, let him go. He won't notify me, and I needn't care."
"So it's because of that woman? The woman who came with Lord Silver Wolf?"
"Are the women with him few?"
"Lord Silver Wolf has many women is just a rumor outside, you know him best, why would you say that? The one now is the only one he acknowledges and announces to the world. Their appearance together in the Celestial Domain this time, it is said many want to witness the grace of this divine couple."
"Why are you also stirring things up like those outside? It's just inviting them to the Celestial Domain for questioning by Scholar's Pavilion, yet it's twisted into something else? Lord Silver Wolf's love for the limelight hasn't changed."
"I must speak fairness for Lord Silver Wolf, he himself dislikes the limelight, but can't stop the topics and controversies, attracting everyone's attention and discussion, becoming the focus wherever he goes. Saying he's frivolous is just because of his unrestrained appearance, a deliberate media creation."
