As the aircraft reappeared above the valley, it truly startled the Free People, sending them scattering in fear and hiding.
Flame Wave deliberately hovered low over the area where the crowd had gathered, then fired an elemental magnetic bullet towards the center at a Terra Grove tree. The tree disintegrated instantly, leaving only particles scattering into the air.
"Ah!" Raina Grace exclaimed in shock. She hadn't expected Flame Wave to suddenly open fire and destroy a Terra Grove tree. "Don't you know that Terra Grove trees are also living beings?" she asked angrily.
Flame Wave's action was merely intended to intimidate the Free People, making Raina Grace's standing in this place easier in the future, ensuring people wouldn't dare to bully her.
He didn't understand what Raina Grace meant by life. He thought it was just a useless sentiment, treating all plants, cats, and dogs as if they had thoughts and intelligence.
He didn't want to explain anything, simply asking, "Where do you want to land?"
Raina Grace looked carefully and felt somewhat relieved, thinking maybe this Terra Grove tree didn't have a heart, perhaps it had taken residence in a human or had long lost its spirit. She also regretted her tone just now and wished she had told Flame Wave about the story of the Terra Grove heart earlier.
Hearing Flame Wave's question, she instinctively pointed to a nearby elemental magnetic fruit orchard, behind which lay the Terra Grove clan's territory.
Flame Wave then flew in that direction. Raina Grace thought that once he saw a living Terra Grove tree, he would understand everything.
To facilitate Raina Grace's descent, Flame Wave parked the aircraft at the edge of the plantation. "Is it on the mountain? Can you manage on your own?"
Thanks to the presence of the Phoenix Eggshell, Raina Grace wasn't afraid of the Terra Grove clan harming her. "It's okay, I can manage on my own."
"Of course, you're always capable," Flame Wave said expressionlessly. "So, is this goodbye?"
"Goodbye?" Raina Grace hadn't expected their parting to come so suddenly. "Aren't you coming with me to see the Terra Grove trees?"
"Come with you? Aren't you afraid I'll destroy them?" Flame Wave asked.
"Would you?" Raina Grace asked, puzzled. "Why?"
"There are so many whys," Flame Wave laughed. "It's just a tree. If it blocks my way, even people can be dealt with."
Raina Grace's eyes widened in realization. Flame Wave seemed so distant all of a sudden, sitting aloofly in the aircraft, looking down at her coldly, as if she was the one blocking his way.
Her throat felt suddenly choked, and she couldn't speak. The confusion and hurt in her blue eyes almost softened Flame Wave's heart. He even thought of rushing down to accompany her anywhere.
