The Troublesome Triplets

Chapter 5

The next morning we head to the pack house for breakfast. All of our family will be in attendance. It is our last morning together before we go our separate ways.

I have all my bags packed. They are ready to go in my grandmothers SUV. We are driving to my new apartment in California.

I first have to get through breakfast with my family. The food was delicious as always. After our meal my fathers wished us the best. They lectured us on being safe and making smart decisions.

They gave each of us a debit card with enough money to get us by. We knew it was more for Dean. Since he would be traveling more and spending money.

Once my parents wish us well with teary hugs. They head home. Then it is just Dean, Delilah and myself. We say our sad good byes.

Delilah then heads back to our great grandparents place. Where she has been staying. I walk Dean to his bike. I watch him leave the pack territory.

I then go to find my grandmother. We are leaving after lunch. We will say goodbye to my fathers one more time. Then be on our way to California.

  School starts in two weeks. Enough time for me to get settled. We will drop my stuff off at my apartment. I then will take an overnight bag to the Moon river pack. I will stay there a few nights.

  I will get introduced to their alpha. I will also go over their training schedule and rules. Until I find a job. I agreed with my grandparents to possibly pick up some patrol shifts. At least till school starts.

After lunch with my parents. We say our final good byes. I double check I have everything I need. Then I get into my grandmas SUV. We both wave as we leave Silver moon territory.

  I am ready for my next adventure. My new beginnings. I hope my siblings and I find what we are looking for. I nap while she drives. I am emotionally drained.

I am nervous about what is next. Starting a new chapter without my siblings. It will be scary. I also think it will help us all grow and be more independent.

Finally we arrive at what will be my apartment. It is on the second floor with a decent sized balcony. It is a two bedroom nice sized bachelor pad. Too bad I am the more nerdy loner type.

We carry all my stuff in. I Leave my duffle and backpack in the SUV. I am going to get used to the Moon river pack. Then I will get my apartment situated.

My granddad said he has his old f150 I can use. It will be mine while I am commuting back and forth. I thanked him profusely. I mean luckily the pack is only a fifteen minute drive from campus.

I appreciate my grandparents helping me out. They said it was no problem. My dad Andrew left them young at eighteen. They said they are happy to have me around.

Once we put all my stuff in the apartment. We finally head to Moon River. My grandma introduces me to those patrolling. After I meet the Alpha and get welcomed to the pack.

I will get a pass for my vehicle. To show it when I enter the pack land. It is there way of knowing who belongs and who does not.

  We go to her home first. She missed her mate very much. She kisses my grandpa fiercely.

I go to the guest room to give them space. I put my stuff away for now. About an hour later my grandmother calls me down for dinner.

Grandad goes over the expectations of Moon River. We agreed once school starts. I will only train on weekends. Until then I will train every evening.
