It has been two weeks since the attack on the Moon River pack. The alpha and my mate Tomas interrogated the prisoners. It turned out they were hired to attack and collect information.
The group that hired them are looking for weaker packs in the area to take over the territory. The alpha passed this information on to neighboring packs and clans.
When Moon River Allie's were attacked by the same groups. They were prepared. Now the neighboring packs and clans are working together. They are looking for the group behind the attacks.
The prisoners did say they were surprised by Moon River. They heard that they were cocky and laid back. The enemy did not expect the structured defense. They also did not expect hybrids or other kinds to be part of the pack.
I am going with Tomas to Silver moon. At least for the first three days. I want to introduce him to my family. Once he is comfortable. I will be returning to Moon River.
Dean and Travis are accompanying me. I am not comfortable being completely alone with my mate yet. Since we will be away from Moon River. Cassandra is sending some hybrid warriors to help out at Moon River.

We are all driving to Silver moon together. The plan is to leave tomorrow after breakfast. Tonight Tomas is coming to dinner at my grandparents place.

I am currently getting ready for dinner. I am wearing light jeans a tank top and some white shoes. Casual but cute. I hear a knock on the door.
As I head downstairs. I see my mate talking to my grandparents. He stops in his tracks and stares at me. You look absolutely stunning Delilah says Tomas. Thank you, let's see what amazing food grams made for us tonight.
We enter the dining room. Dean and Dj are already seated next to their mate's. I sit next to Travis and Tomas is on my other side.
Dinner looks amazing. Grams made salmon with asparagus and mixed greens. For desert she made mini cheesecakes and some cappuccino. We all enjoyed dinner and made light conversation.

After dinner Tomas and I went into the living room. My brothers and grandparents joined us. My gramps explained for us to sit next to each other and hold hands. I jumped when Tomas touched me.
Tomas backed up from me and apologized. If you are not ready Delilah I understand. I just wanted something to appease my wolf that we are moving forward. That you are not rejecting us says Tomas.
Goodness No Tomas. I am sorry that horrible man screwed up my head. I took a deep breath and scooted closer. My brothers and their mates are sitting on the other side of the room. Close enough for support or to jump in if needed.
Otherwise trying to give us some space. Delilah bring Tomas's wrist to your mouth. Lick his wrist then bite into his wrist with your canines. Then lick the wound clean explains my grandfather.
I do as I am instructed. I then give a light kiss to Tomas' wrist then I drop his hand. He then goes to do the same to me.
Nervously and with caution. This time I allow his touch. When completed I shiver with his kiss to my wrist.
We are now temporarily marked. Until I am ready to complete the mating process. If he will agree to it.
When he returns to Moon River. I want him to accompany me to therapy. I need to open up and get used to his company.
I want to be with my mate. I do not want to push him away. I want what my brothers have.
I yearn for my mates touch. Not to flinch and go into a panic attack at his slightest touch. I want to move on.
We all decide to play some cards and enjoy each other's company. At the end of the night. I kiss Tomas's cheek. I tell him Dean, Travis and I will pick him up in the morning.
I am actually quite nervous to return home to silver moon. Even if only for a few days. The last time I was there. Was when I was kidnapped and sexually assaulted. I do want to see my fathers and other family that reside there.
I know Silver moon will be good for Tomas. Cassandra will train him and whip him into shape. It will also be good for him to see a pack as diverse as Silver moon.
If you follow the rules you are welcomed at Silver moon. They even took my brother Edwards mates father in. After he defended Cassandra during a battle which his mate Sal's mother led.
Silver moon shows kindness, compassion and acceptance for all kind. However do not defy or underestimate the pack. They are also fierce, powerful and very smart.
There is a reason Silver moon and my sister Alpha Cassandra are one of the largest and most respected packs in the nation. Tomas can learn so much from them. I believe he has it in him to be a great leader. He just needs the right support and guidance.
My brothers and their mates head home for the night. I decide to shower and double check my bags. Then I call it a night. I know the next few days will be emotionally difficult for me.
