The Troublesome Triplets

Chapter 26

Delilah (pov)

   The last two weeks flew by. Besides the Xan situation. Things have been going well. I have been enjoying my time with my family. I have also been enjoying sharing my childhood with my mate.

  I showed him some of my favorite things about my home pack. I also introduced him to many of my old friends. Also some of my siblings visited from neighboring clans, packs, and covens.

Tomas has been training with Cassandra and attending therapy sessions with me. We both continue to grow and heal. We have gotten much closer on this trip.

Tomorrow I leave with my fellow triplets and their mates. We are heading back to Moon River. I am looking forward to getting back to a regular routine.

I am not looking forward to leaving Tomas. He will be at Silver moon for at least another two months. There is a lot for him to learn still.

Tonight we are having dinner at my father's. All of our family that is at Silver moon will join us. It is a big dinner before us triplets head back to moon river.

My dad Andrew is making us triplets, our favorite foods. Mine is balsamic marinated salmon. Dj's is fettuccine Alfredo and Dustin loves steak.

  The three make a delicious meal with mixed vegetables and a Caesar salad. Then Theo will make his famous turtle brownies served with ice cream.

Afterwards I am going to try to spend some time with my mate. I am able to finally be partially alone with him. The two of us will sit together in the yard. My family will be right in the door if I freak out.

As long as Tomas does not hug, kiss or really touch me with out permission I am fine. I am ok sitting next to him. I am also ok if I initiate the contact. I have kissed him on the cheek and held his hand.

It is all baby steps. I am just happy he is patient and understanding. He could have rejected me. However after he knew the circumstances he wants me.

Even though I doubt myself. I feel broken yet Tomas insists I am perfect. He really has came a long way.

After the delicious dinner we sit in my sisters yard. My brothers have a bonfire going. Alpha Cassandra is inside with her family. Tobalt and Theo are sitting on the back patio.

We are alone in the corner. Farther away from everyone. They are all keeping tabs on me. Tristan even mind-linked me to see how I was doing.

I hug Tomas and say how much he will be missed. I wish him the best. Hoping for a speedy training. I tell him I will continue therapy.

Hoping when he returns. I will be closer to being prepared to completing our mating. Knowing he is doing all this for us and the pack. He is finally thinking of others instead of his self. He is finally thinking like an alpha.

  The night goes well. I kiss his cheek. I then tell him until he returns to Moon River. I will be waiting for him. I stay at my father's tonight with my brothers.

We will leave at sunrise. I will not see my mate again until Cassandra deems him fit to be an alpha. Who knows how long that truly will be.

5 months later

I struggled without being near Tomas. We talked everyday. We even face timed.
