Chapter 14

Dean (pov)

I am so happy to be back at Moon River. Dj and I helped Delilah get settled at our grandparents place. She was going to tour the clinic tomorrow. She would resume her clinical next week. She was only a semester away from having her nursing degree.

   We promised to show her around the next few days. Tanner and Dj had to catchup on some of their coursework they missed. They are all going to resume training first thing Saturday morning.

    That gave them three days off. Travis and I are completely opposite. We are actually going to play catch up. We are going to pick up some extra training.

   Delilah said she was happy to be here. That it was hard being away from the two of us. Dj and I both agreed with her.

Ever since we got back. I have been staying with Travis. I cannot get enough of him.

  I am ravaging his hot body whenever we are alone. I am so happy. I stocked up on condoms.

   I literally put them everywhere. In the kitchen, bathroom, laundry room, living room, in both our wallets and even the saddle bag on my Harley. I really do not want a child right now.

   We are insatiable. The first night back. We fucked like rabbits.

  We kept switching. I do not think we slept. We both slacked off at training the next morning.

Now we have been trying to get to slow down. Travis asked if Delilah was really as a good fighter as Dj and myself. I said you have no clue.

You met Cassandra. My sisters are no joke. Men and people of power in general tend to doubt a pretty woman. That can get you killed when it comes to my sisters.

Do not disrespect any of them. If you are lucky you will live to greatly regret it. You will find out tomorrow anyway. Delilah, Dj and Tanner will be at training in the morning.

I cannot believe tomorrow is Saturday already says Travis. I know, let's get to bed. We will need our rest. Especially if either of us are sparring with Dj or Delilah tomorrow.

The next day we wake up well rested. We have a simple breakfast of eggs and toast. We then meet my siblings and Tanner at the training grounds.

   As we arrive Mr. Wilson addresses us. Welcome back all of you. Thanks for joining us Delilah. I am looking forward to seeing you fight. You Imes never cease to amaze me says Mr. Wilson.

Ok everyone start with twenty laps, fifty crunches and one hundred  jumping jacks says Parker Wilson our instructor. Yes sir we all say in unison and start our warm ups.

As usual at the end of the sparring exercises. It is  me, Dj, Travis and now Delilah left. Mr Wilson paired Delilah with Travis. I had a feeling that would happen.

She is the only one Mr. Wilson has not seen fight him yet. Plus he knows Delilah probably has a similar fighting style to Dj and me. I warned Travis to treat her in a fight just like anyone else.

  I am curious to see how this goes. I am also nervous to see my mate fight my sister. Delilah is only about an inch and a half shorter than Travis. She is strong and fit. I know she can handle her own.

They both enter the sparring circle. They shake hands and get started. Travis actually looks nervous not knowing how to start. My sister uses that to her advantage.

She attacks first waking him out of his daze. The fight then continues. They are pretty evenly matched. That is till Travis grabs my sister by her side.

  You see something flash in her eyes. I know something is wrong. She gets tense.

She does this crazy back bend thing. In the process kicking Travis hard under his chin. He flew off the ground and landed hard.

Delilah is shaking and gasping for air. The crowd is cheering. Dj and I know something is not right. He goes to Delilah. I run to my mate.

Mr. Wilson is standing over him. He should be fine. She knocked him out cold. I never want to be in your family's bad graces says Parker.

I sit down and put Travis' head in my lap. Wake up Travis are you ok. I ask kissing his head. Delilah and Dean walk to our side.

Dean I am so sorry. I was fine until he touched my side. Then I was fighting Xan. Instead of sparring. I was fighting to get away Delilah cries in Dj's arms.

I know sister we saw it. Travis will be fine. He will understand. Dj is trying to console her.

Delilah I have heard of your recent trauma. I think until you can settle your PTSD. You should not be sparring. You seemed fine with the warmups and other exercises says Mr.Wilson.

Continue to attend training. You can watch the sparring until you are more under control says our trainer. Thank you for understanding.

We definitely do not need her to hurt anyone else. Especially since she would most likely be paired with Dj, Travis or myself I chuckle.

Finally Travis starts to stir in my lap. He sets up looking around. God my head what happened he asks.

  Delilah happened. You were sparring when she had a flash back of her attack. She was no longer fighting you but Xan.

Travis I am so sorry. I did not mean to hurt you she says softly. How do you feel Delilah asks. I feel like my head will explode and I may vomit Travis says groggily.

I stand up lifting Travis in my arms. Travis blushes put me down Dean Travis says. Not happening you sound like you may have a concussion. I am taking you to the clinic to be double checked.

I agree with him as a nurse. You sound like you have a concussion Travis. I am so sorry again Delilah says. Hey it is ok Delilah you had a traumatic experience says Travis.

Everyone training is done for today. Hit the showers. Oh and remember future Alpha Tomas will be joining us sometime over the next few days. He just returned from a future leaders conference says Parker Wilson.

We all respond yes sir. We then start to leave. Dj and Tanner are heading back to their apartment. Delilah said she is accompanying me to the clinic with Travis.

I know she feels guilty. She wants to ensure Travis is ok. Delilah also said she is going to check if the pack offers therapy for trauma victims.

As we enter the clinic. Delilah gives the receptionist the details about what happened and Travis' symptoms. I am just holding my mate. I know he is a fully capable strong man.

In this moment. I am keeping Travis close. Seeing him unconscious like that really scared me. Thankfully we are wolves and heal quickly.

We follow the nurse into a room. After everything is said and done. Travis has a concussion and has to stay for observation.

Delilah made an appointment for a group therapy session. I then kiss Travis. I tell him I am going to shower and have lunch. Also that I need to make sure Delilah is ok.

I am also going to talk to my grandparents. They need to know what happened. I promise him I will be back in an hour or so.

We say our goodbyes. I then leave with my sister. I am concerned for her. I want to see her happy.

  I hope she finds her mate soon. Someone strong to support her and be there for her. She deserves better than what she has been dealing with.
