Their Obsession

Press Release

Kevin, Richard, and Sarah were heading to Kevins office. This was one of the few times where Richard was driving and Kevin was in the passenger seat. Today was Friday which meant it is the day of the press release. Monday is the actual product launch. Kevin always has product launches on Monday so people can preorder the new product over the weekend after the press release on Friday.

Kevin was grateful that Richard was driving today. He had a million and one thoughts going through his head. There was zero doubt in his mind that this day would go smoothly but there is still a small part of him that worries. He soon felt hands rubbing his shoulders. Kevin took a deep breath in and out.

"Thank you, Baby Doll. I really appreciate you being here with me today." Kevin grabbed her left hand, turned his head a bit and kissed it. "I know today will be hectic so please do not leave either Richards or my side. If you need to use the restroom or anything let us know. No walking off by yourself."

"Yes Daddy. I am here to help you relax. Not to add more stress to your day." Sarah said.

"Thank you, Baby Doll. Now sit back in the seat. We will be at the office soon." Sarah was sitting in the back seat behind Kevin.

The guys wanted her to sit in a car seat, but Sarah said no to that. Richard explained to her that it's for her safety. Also, it will be a good way to help her get into little space. Sarah looked at the car seat and thought about it. She asked the guys for a compromise. Since she had this sprung up on her that this time she can just sit in the back seat and the next time they go anywhere she will sit in the car seat. Give her time to adjust to the idea of sitting in one. They both understood and agreed.

Within a few minutes they arrived at the office building. Richard and Kevin got out first and then they let Sarah out. Before going into the building Kevin turned to look at Sarah.

"I know I said this in the car but I need to reiterate this. Things will get hectic in there. I want you to stay by my or Richards side at all times. You and Richard will stay in my office. I have a tv set up in there where we will all watch the press conference. Ideally I would be in the office with you both, but I will more than likely have to put out some fires."

"Okay. I won't go anywhere without either of you with me. Is there anything I can do to help you Daddy?"

Kevin smiled at his sweet girl. Hearing her call him Daddy was great. Kevin leaned down and kissed her forehead. "Knowing you are safe and being my good girl is more than enough to help me. Thank you."

With that the three of them headed into the building. As soon as the three of them stepped into the building people were all over Kevin asking him questions. Richard and Sarah headed to the elevator. While they both wanted to stay by Kevins side they knew it would be best for them to just get to his office.

Once in Kevins office Richard locked the door. This was to ensure that no one will enter the office other than Kevin. Sarah went to sit on the couch that was in the office.

"Daddy. I have a question."

Richard went over to the drink cart and poured himself a glass of whiskey. He does prefer beer but Kevin doesn't keep any in his office. "You can ask me anything sweetheart. First though would you like anything to drink?"

"Just water please. Last week when Daddy was telling me about the press conference, he said that only the necessary people would know he is here and no one else."

Richard handed her a glass of water and sat down next to her. "That wasn't a question Sweetheart."

"Well, I guess it's more like I am confused then. He made it seem like he would be hidden away here with us. That only like two or three people would know he was here. That was a lot more than two or three people."
