It was Friday morning and Sarah went to a local café. It was around 5:30 in the morning. On occasion Sarah woke up super early. She was sitting at a table with a warm cup of black tea and a cinnamon roll on the table. The cinnamon rolls were really good here. As she was sipping on her tea, she was scrolling through her Spotify list. Looking for some nice music to go with this day. Since she had headphones and she wasn't paying attention to her surroundings when someone tapped on her shoulder, she practically jumped out of her skin. She took out her ear buds, turned around and smiled when she saw it was Richard.

Richard couldn't believe his luck when he saw Sarah at the café. He was super excited to see her. He liked to come to this café when he is almost done with a morning run. He liked to go on early morning runs a few days a week. He smiled when he saw his Sarah. He decided to approach her and see what she was doing up so early. When he tapped her on her shoulder, he felt bad for scaring the poor girl. "I am so sorry. I didn't mean to scare you. I was just so surprised to see you here especially so early. I just wanted to say hi. Would you mind if I take a seat?" He gestured to the chair across from her.

"Oh! Of course, please sit down!" Sarah smiled at Richard. She couldn't help but look at him and think how good he looked. He was wearing basketball shorts and a tight tank top. She blushed and quickly looked down at her tea. He was married to her childhood best friend for crying out loud! Richard of course noticed that she checked him out a bit. This was a good sign.

"Sometimes I just wake up really early for no reason. This place makes amazing cinnamon rolls. Want a bite?" Sarah grabbed her fork and she made sure to grab a piece with a good amount of frosting on it and held it up to Richard. Richard normally doesn't indulge in super sugary sweet things but how can he say no when she looks so cute holding it towards him. He opened his mouth and ate the sugary goodness. As he took the bite of cinnamon roll, he made eye contact with Sarah. He licked his lips and then smiled. "Thank you. That was very good. I usually only eat stuff like this on special occasions. I am glad I did though. Now I know where to go for a delectable treat." When he said that he winked at her. Sarah blushed and tried not to think too much about that wink. Maybe something was in his eye.

"So, what has you distracted on this morning?" Richard asked Sarah. Sarah held up her cell phone. "Oh, I was looking for a song on Spotify to listen to. Music that I think will fit this day. I just can't pick one." Sarah pouted at her phone. Richard just wanted to kiss that pout away. Richard stuck his hand out. "I have the perfect song. Do you mind if I find it for you?" "That would be awesome! Thank you!" Sarah handed him her phone. The thing is though Richard had no song in mind. He just needed her phone for one moment. As he pretended to look for the song her phone her phone 'accidently' slipped from his hands and landed on the floor. Her phone screen shattered. Just like Richard hoped it would happen.

"I am so sorry! I thought I had a good grip on it!" Richard bent down to pick the phone up. On the outside he looked very sorry and guilty. On the inside he was super happy. At dinner that night they were planning on having a maid accidently spill water on her phone or knock it to the ground. Now this works out so much better. "I insist on getting you a new phone. I broke your phone I will get you a new one. I won't take no as an answer." Richard looked at her sternly. He can see she was ready to object.

"It was an accident. I know you didn't mean to break it." Sarah said as she grabbed her phone. She groaned a bit. She needs her phone. Not just to listen to music but for work and in case of emergencies. She was about to reject Richard getting her a new phone but from the look he was giving her she decided against that. "Okay. I will accept a new phone from you. Thank you. Just so you know I am not mad at you. I understand things happen." Sarah told Richard. She could see he felt really guilty and wanted to try to ease that guilt.

"I appreciate that, Sarah. I will have your new phone ready for you when you come to dinner tonight." Richard looked at watch and stood up. "I am sorry to have just broken your phone and leave but I must get going. I will see you tonight. If you would like I can take your old phone with me and I can transfer your sim card over so you will be all set tonight." Sarah smiled and handed him her phone. She was thinking he was going above and beyond for a simple accident.

"Thank you for the new phone and setting it up for me. I will get going in a bit. Just going to finish my tea and cinnamon roll. I am looking forward to tonight. You guys said you didn't mind picking me up right?" Sarah asked just to confirm their plans. They had agreed to pick her up yesterday when they were confirming dinner plans. "Of course, Baby Doll. It will be our pleasure to pick you up." Sarah smiled widen when she heard her old nickname. She loved that Richard started to call her that as well. With that Richard left the café with Sarahs old phone in his pocket. What started out to be a simple run through the city turned waaaay better than Richard could have ever thought. He couldn't wait to tell Kevin.
