The luckiest mother fucker on earth turned out to be an ungrateful little bratty bitch. How the fuck do you call sleeping forever and not aging even a bit a curse? What's her name  again?

Bell.

Or was it Aurora?

All I know is that she had an ugly pink dress on.

And my alarm kept ringing. I still don't know why I chose the annoying tone.

I got up in time for a quick run around the yard. I wasn't in the mood to take it anywhere far past. I showered as soon as my quick 'workout' was over and got ready for school.

It surprised me how I managed to wake up early enough to get all those things done, but I did and I was actually proud of myself. One thing I knew for sure was that this wasn't going to be a regular thing. It just happened because I couldn't get myself to sleep.

I walked downstairs as fast as I could. It's been long since I had breakfast before going to school so I wanted to take my revenge. I went straight to the kitchen, putting my backpack on the counter. I took out a stool  and sat by the island where we mostly have breakfast.

Of course Isaac was already there, reading a magazine while sipping on his unsweetened coffee– can never be me. I threw some bread slices into the toaster while I made myself some coffee, completely ignoring Isaac like I didn't hear him saying 'hi' to me.

The toaster signalled with a ping sound that my toast was ready. I put some margarine on it which melted instantly.––gosh, I love me some sexy looking toast.

Mick walked in while I was almost finishing up with my meal. She said goodmorning to her dad and I but I ignored her.

Jake came in a couple of minutes later, dressed up for school. He hugged me like he hadn't seen me in years– I love the annoying little rascal who happened to steal my favourite spiderman pyjamas which are twice his size.

I got my backpack and my car keys, going straight for the garage where I happened to have packed my car on Friday.

I drove out at nanospeed knowing I was going to get myself an irritating lecture after school.

I really don't care.

I reached school earlier than usual, parking my car at queen bee's very own spot. I guess I woke up yearning for violence. I got out of my car and headed for the class I was going to meet lexi in.

I opened the door to the class to find Raven was there too. Fuck my day.

"Hi" I said bluntly to both of them, earning myself an eye roll from Raven.

"Hi" lexi said, sounding as sweet as ever.

"So why am I here again?" I said, staring at the gothic girl shooting daggers from her eyes at me.

"Lexi just let her go, she isn't worth your time."

"Raven, she's my friend, and I just wanna know why she hates me now okay."

"I don't hate you lexi, I wouldn't even if I tried. You give me no reason to. I just don't want you getting hurt because I've got too much to deal with."

"No you're trying to protect yourself from getting hurt, go on, build your little wall higher. You've already hurt her." Raven said. Snorting and looking at me like I was absurd.

"Please just don't push me away, not you too."

"Okay lexi, I won't push you away." I'm so easy to get.

"So we'll have lunch together?"

"I guess so." I said looking at Raven. She got up and told lexi she was going to see her later. Lexi came up to me and gave me a bone crushing hug murmuring "I care alot about you."

"Me too, but I really need to breathe." She chuckled and we went to class together, like old times before I cowardly let go of our friendship.

But I knew for a fact that Raven was right, I was just trying to protect myself more than anyone.

                              °°°°
"Yeah right, I'll only forgive you after you share that strawberry shortcake which turned out to be the last piece."

"Okay, I'm pretty sure I can survive your hatred Raven, there's no way I'm giving up my precious baby."

So yeah.

It was lunch and I was at a table with lexi and Raven—in the cafeteria–who happened to be trying to get me to give up my strawberry shortcake because she says she's more deserving of its sweetness than I am. She was so blunt at first during this lunch. She's the overprotective type of friend so I get that she was just trying to protect lexi–from me, that is.

We've been bickering our heads off since and I'm glad that everything is getting back to normal.

"Okay pass the cake and I'll get you and Christian married by tomorrow morning." She winked.

"Now I'm sure I won't be giving you anything."

"Don't share anything with Raven, it gets addictive, plus she dared to replace the love of your life– mask guy–with Christian fucking Taylor." Lexi rattled.

I thought she was on my side.

"Come on, I'm not in love with mask guy."

"You lost your virginity at fifteen to the guy, and you still fuck him in your dreams yet I thought I was the wild one."

"Okay enough about me, tell me how you and green eyes became a thing. I really think the story is movie worthy."

"You do know that that movie worthy story involves lexi's brother's dick being sucked right?" She teased, mimicking my voice whe saying 'movie worthy'.

Lexi's eyes widened at this and I knew we were up for her whining. "Raven, that's gross. It's okay to say that anywhere else but in front of me."

"Blame the pretty girl here, she started it." She pointed her thin crunchy  chicken nugget at me with a smirk.

Raven Raven Raven.

Lexi just rolled her eyes, clearly used to hearing about her brother's dick. Before I could look away from her, she abruptly got up and ran off mumbling something in the lines of " I gotta puke" as she went out through the cafeteria doors.

Maybe not so used to hearing about his dick.

I looked at her, shaking my head and she said "what?" Feigning innocence when we both know she's anything but." You asked for movie worthy" she continued, using an accusatory tone.

Lucky me, it was time to get back to class. I just got saved from that taunting.
