"Can you believe it?"

"Yeah. Totally."

"I don't get it, you know,he's sooooooo annoying, he let me do all the work while he just sat there and stared at his phone. He's fucking cuckoo if he thinks I'll let him have credit for my hard work. And he's so rude, like what's wrong with boys at this school? Is it a virus or something? I definitely should have poured my water on that alien's face."

"Don't you think that's enough talk about 'alien guy'? He's annoying, I agree but complaining about him isn't worth it."

"I'm just starting, actually. No wait, why are you on his side? You're crushing on him lexi?"

"What! No! It's just weird, Raven's here and—"

"Ohhh so Raven and alien huh?" I say, giving Raven my smugiest smile. Who would have thought.

"Okay, now that's disgusting. Please stop." Raven grits out.

"You know? Thinking about it, you two make a power couple. You're both stuck ups, you both love your phones soooo much, you both hate every living human and you give me alien symptoms."

They actually do make a badass couple goals headline.

"Uhmm, Victoria, it's not–well you see, he's Tyler Scott and she's uhm Raven Scott."

"Wow, they're already married? Or do they just have so much in common? Grey eyes and blablabla?"

oh
Oh
OH

HOLY SHITTING SHIT

"Oh my God, Raven, I'm so sorry. I didn't know he's your brother, you know? You love him, I get it. Oh oh oh, and everything I said about him was a lie. He's actually a very chill guy, has great team work, you know? Not rude and shit. Totally human, not an alien. You're both not aliens. Shit!!! The grey eyes.....I'm so damn aren't I? Wait why do I not know your last name or the fact that you have you have a brother?"

"Why do I not know a thing about your family, pretty girl?"

Oh, makes sense.

"I get your point." I say, while rolling my eyes of course.

"Hey guys, uhm what do you do when a guy you've been talking to online tells you they want to meet you, in a public place of course?"

"You do not go, they could be a kidnapper or something."

"Oh come on Ravs, he asked to meet in a public place."

"People get kidnapped in public places, she shouldn't be so trusting. Plus not everything turns out as good as your fuck around with a masked guy you don't know."

"Okay! Guys stop. What if you two come with me? In case he's a kidnapper, we can have a nice day-well-spent at the mall and get really cute manicures."

"Uhm no."
"Nah-uh"
Raven and I say in unison.

"What, why not?" Lexi says, displaying a cute puppy face and an adorable pout that anyone would curve. Anyone but me and Raven.

"Maybe because if he's a kidnapper, he'll actually kidnap all three of us?" Even her voice screams Tyler kind of grumpy. How did I not see that.

"Then we can die together," she hugs herself–always being dramatic –and continues "grumpy Raven, life–sucks Victoria and me, the one who brings light into your lives. You know, I might even share my light while we're dead and buried and save you both from hell."

"You're not a God lexi, you're just a purple lover."

"If you come with me, I'll buy you donuts from kreamy kakes."

One thing Raven and I have in common is our love for desserts, and kreamy kakes has the best cakes and donuts, bread too, its basically a bakery and the one thing in the world we agree on.

"You have to promise."

"I promise.....sooo who's in?"

Raven and I share a look before nodding yes.

~ 4:30 pm ( in doctors Hall's office)~

"So you agreed?"
"I really don't think I had a choice you know? I can't let my little brother go through that exploitation."

"I'm worried about your social anxiety Victoria, the media isn't really the best place to be, but again it's not the worst."

"I'll try my best if it means keeping my brother off it. Kids his age already don't like him, I'm sure he even gets bullied but he hasn't told me. People on the Internet can be so mean and he's just a child."

"You're also just a child." She gets up from her office chair and squats down in front of me, taking my hands in hers. "How about, you tell me what happened in school today? Huh?"

"You told me you don't want to hear a word about how my assignment partner is an alien who's sooooo annoying and turns out he's the brother to my friend Raven."

"Well, that's because you don't want to agree that you've got a crush on him."

"No I don't. "

"Hmm see? Then why is he the one thing on your mind huh?"

"Uhm because he's annoying. Duh."

"Uhm because you like him. Duh." She mimics my voice–well tries–and ends up sounding like a non functioning chipmunk. So sad for that ASMR fit voice.

"You know what, I think let's go back to being professional."

"Since when are you in your professional lane Vicki?" She laughs out.

"We can start today, as in right now."

"And later you'll try to find me a man and get me laid."

"Well, you have no friends besides me and you're always working so you don't have a boyfriend, and I found this guy named James, I think you'll make cute babies."

"You know what? I think we should be extremely professional from now on."

"You haven't even seen his picture."  I complain.

"I can not be talking about babies and how they are made to a 16 year old."

"Seriously?" And she nods her head. What is this? The 8th century or something? Of course I know how babies are made.

"We both know you love alien guy."

"We said professional, sheesh."

I don't like alien guy, at all. He's creepy as fuck. But doc here won't even try to believe me.

We continue with our session for another hour–talking about serious staff this time. We mostly talk about how I should deal with my new found job. To be honest, I think I'm getting pretty cozy around her, she's good at what she does. I haven't self harmed since I met her. I do think about it, sometimes I even start but end up stopping myself from doing it. It's baby steps and I'm a happy toddler.
