Life in Narnia was both joyful and adventurous. As Kings and Queens, the children would go on to explore more lands of their new home. As a Queen, Miriam was devoted to her people and made sure that they were all taken care of. She always put her people before her own needs. As the Protector of Narnia, she along with her companions lead her people to several victories and protected her people from the enemies that tried to take the kingdom.

Miriam would spend her spare time with each of the Pevensie siblings. Dividing her time between the four of them. She would go fishing, reading, scavenger hunting, riding, drawing, picking flowers, cooking and baking, training, playing chess among other things. There was plenty of things to do just in the castle so there was no limit to their creativity.

When she wasn't doing that, she would help other members of the court or other Narnians with day-to-day chores. She didn't mind any of it. The more she learned about the Narnian life, the less she wanted to return to her home in England. She felt at home in Narnia, a feeling she hadn't felt in what seemed like a lifetime ago. It usually felt like an easier life compared to her life at home. She often saw her life in Narnia as a new start, like she got a second chance to a happier and trouble-free life.

But her duties as a Queen and Protector often led her to leave the court to visit other places, other kingdoms. She would travel by ship or horse and even though she discovered that she was seasick she decided that it wouldn't stop her from going.

She was also now in her mid-twenties making her a fully grown woman. And though she wasn't overly conscious of her body, she knew a woman's body changed with age, as did a man's. Therefor she wasn't comfortable with the idea that men watched lustfully at her as she entered a room, especially when she accompanied Susan to various balls where potential suitors were attending. None of which Miriam found even remotely drawn to. She was polite and danced with them and kept the conversation going but she never took it further. They didn't spike her interest enough. She however made sure that Susan was having a good time and helped her pick the right ones. She read them like they were an open book and knew when to trust them and when not to. A lot of men tried to persuade them, pretending to be noble and honest when in reality they were only after the crown.

Miriam might have been a polite and sweet young woman, but she knew how to make an argument, she knew how to subtly threaten someone especially when it involved her people

Miriam might have been a polite and sweet young woman, but she knew how to make an argument, she knew how to subtly threaten someone especially when it involved her people. If anyone harmed them, she would be the first one to know and the consequences would be devastating to whomever would be foolish enough to cross her.

But there was always a downside to being Queen. It had left her more afraid for her life and even a bit paranoid. The same fear she had for her uncle she had developed in Narnia as well. And knowing that the risk of being murdered was much larger as a Queen, her fear had magnified. It left her more vulnerable and as much as she wanted to trust everyone, she knew she had to be on guard at all times. Therefore she never went anywhere without her swords, even in her own chambers.
