12. You are my Home

It's already afternoon and Gio wanted to go back to his mate. He was pissed and on the edge the whole day. He knew even after he has to work his ass off whole day,  still he would not be able to go back and snuggle and cuddle with his mate in his bed. How he wished he could do that. But he also known there is something else ge must do before that day comes.

In few hours the banquet hall would be filled with people from all around the places. He has too much work to do before that. Blake was given instructions to make sure nothing goes wrong tonight. His shadow soldiers were the ones eyeing on people he did not trust much.

During all this Cydney has mindlinked Gio many times asking for him to join her. She wanted to dressup with him and to wear something matching. Even though no one has yet told Gio about the marriage announcement but he knew it was going to happen today. His parents did not think about asking for his permission related to the matter. Because they did not wanted the past to repeat itself. But not to their liking it is already happening.

Gio tried his best to ignore the sl... Cydney. She was annoying him to his last nerves. He could not guarantee how long till he snaps.

He already was exhausted from the greeting with his parents at the breakfast he had with them. He had to skip the lunch because of too much workload. But he would rather have that than to spend time with the Emperor and the Empress. If it was any other day they would have ordered him to join them, but they knew their son was single handedly looking after the party. So they understood why he was so busy.

He was very relaxed also because atleast at today's banquet he will be able to get the truth out and put the murderers behind the bars in the dungeon. He has planned it all and it was a full proof one. He will make sure that his people and followers would get to know this and make the right judgement.

The evidence were solid ones, he knew there was no chance they could get out of this. The only problem then would be Cydney. She would turn sides, and it would be hard to push her aside. But when I introduce my true mate Levi to everyone, she would not be able to leech off me. But i don't know about the future. Though it is true I would not let anything happen to my mate, but that does not mean it does not bother me. Levi is my life he is my home I would even die for him, but I know my little mate would not love me being dead. So that plan is never going to be executed like ever.

Just as he finished with the last set of papers the door to his office opens and entered a girl in her Teens and a boy in his early 20s. Hazel and Vincenzo younger siblings of Gio. "Brother I thought you will be with my sister-in-law getting ready but here you are still working." Hazel comment with a pinch of drama in her tone. She was the most dramatic among the Moretti family. Hearing her words Gio and Vincenzo rolled their eyes. Both the brothers did not like the title which did not belong to the sl.. Cydney. Vincenzo never liked her as she was only after the title of queen. And Gio well he only had her so that he could fullfill his needs. And now he regrets it thinking about his little mate. Wishing he should have waited for his mate.

Vincenzo sensing that his brother was also not that happy with the title he spoke first "Brother it's getting late you should get ready. " Vincenzo said at which Gio nodded and causing Hazel to gaspe again dramatically.

"You did not gave a response to me but to him you did. You don't love me Brother. " She said as her eyes became glassy and she pouted. Gio found a headache arising. Even though he loved both his siblings but ge can not deal with Hazel. She is too much to handle and on the contrary to that Vincenzo he can be a brat sometimes but he understands things very well. Even his history proves so, he has not gotten into trouble ever in his life. Everyone in the family and close friends knew how much he admired Gio and wanted to help his older brother and make him proud. Gio has never said it out loud but he was really very proud of his brother. He knew his brother has always hated the idea of opposing male mates or omegas. He was the type who would always respect and protect them. Gio has seen that with his own eyes.
