18. Fear

As Sebastian stands in the middle of the banquet hall, he looks nowhere but just the pair of fear struck eyes. He despised the Emperor to his core. Not just because of the things the emperor did with his son but him as well. He was furious and also relaxed at the same time, because he knew the end to this story very well. For the past few years, he has been preparing with Giovani for this particular day.  

"Oh my god, is he The Sebastian Adamos. I cannot believe this. Wasn't it known that he died in a land slide accident." One of the alpha gasped. 

"But we don't know for sure if he is the same person or not, I mean I am not doubting our King but what if this person is deceiving him." Another alpha put down his opinion. 

The whole of the banquet was filled with the whispers about the person claiming to be the renowned Doctor of the century. Gio loved the discussion, he would be a fool if he would bring his ace out without any foolproof plan. Sebastian's picture is something everyone has seen in their school days or even in newspapers. Though with makeup it is easy to transform anyone into him. Many had done cosplays of him. But the important part is how can he be identified as the person who he claims to be. Well, it is very simple, and it will be fun because of the person who will be the one telling everyone about him. 

Seeing Sebastian both the Emperor and Emperess are beyond shocked. Even not in their worst nightmares they had imagined their son would bring him as a gift for them. Maya who was the most excited about the gift, her eyes are wide open and her lips trembling. She felt like falling any moment now. She turned her gaze to look at her son expecting the gift is something else and will make her happy and this is just some stupid mistake. But once she saw how Gio was looking at them she was 100 percent sure this is the gift of their destruction. She could not take her another son betraying her like this. She thought Gio to love her and her husband the most and will always stick by their side. She felt like someone ripped her heart away yet again. She then turned to look at her husband who was also shocked. His eyes are almost out of their sockets and the color on his face long gone replaced by a paleness. Antonio on the other hand knew his bastard of a son would never come with a nice gift for them, but this is something he did not expect at all. He has lost almost all the hopes as soon as he saw Sebastian. 

Sebastian used to be one of his close friends. They had grown up together. He knew very well he is the real deal; he is not just anyone, but the person Gio claimed him to be, Antonio has spent so many years with him, and he cannot be wrong in identifying him. He could not even take his eyes off of the man standing in the middle. The way Sebastian was looking at him was enough for him to know he was done for; he cannot escape this. But he will never go down without a fight. As he saw other eyes on him, he tried his best to calm his racing heart down and turned to face Gio. Gio looked gratified with the gift he presented to his beloved father and mother. He smirked when he noticed his father looking at him, asking him with his eyes only 'if he liked the present or not?'  

This made Antonio shiver, he felt like losing his temper any minute now. He inhaled deeply and looked dead in Gio's eyes "What is the meaning of this Gio, are you playing a joke?" He asked as his voice silenced every other voice and boomed in the hall. He knew very well though the meaning of all of this. 

"What do you mean by a joke Antonio, do you not remember me? I am Sebastian your Seb." Sebastian said with a pitiful voice. He then turned to everyone. " I know you people might have heard about me but, also heard that I have died years ago, but that is not true, I am alive. It is a long story. But it really is me, I can prove it." He said but again turned to face his so-called best friend. 

Even though everyone was perplexed and shocked with Sebastian's sudden appearance and words. But Antonio knew very well that what he said is true. On the day when he was about to kill him Sebastian defended himself and ran away, and while protecting himself and his mate who was seven months pregnant, he fell down the stream. Except him maya knows about all of this. But he could not understand that how Gio found him. He even made sure that if anyone found him at that time report to him, but when no one saw him for a year, he made a fake news of his and his mate's death, thinking even if he returns anytime, no one will believe him and that too after such a long time. But he overlooked his son, who has witnessed everything.
