Chapter 16: Wrong Place, Wrong Time

"This is all my fault!"

Lloyd and Aria sat on a wall beside each other as Garmadon paced in front of them. The serpentine were busy preparing for battle behind them.

"What have I done?" Garmadon stopped pacing and stared at the Mega weapon "What do I do?"

"It's not your fault dad," Lloyd speaks up before pointing at Aria accusingly "It's hers."

"Mine?!" Aria shouts "Why is it mine?!"

"You were the one who decided to keep the Grundle as a pet!" Lloyd looks at her annoyed "We would've never been there when they used that tea to turn them older!"

"Why is us being older a bad thing?!" Aria questions

"Cause you have these things," Lloyd pokes Aria's chest

Aria smacks him across the face "Don't touch them! It is perfectly normal for a female's chest to grow!"

"Yeah and it's destracting!" Lloyd argues while rubbing his cheek

"Stop it both of you!" Garmadon looks at them

The two kids cross their arms and look away from each other. Garmadon sighs and rubs his forehead.

"If only I could destroy this thing," Garmadon says before pausing "but.. they might be able to."

"Who?" Aria questions

"Ninja go!"

The ninja suddenly jump out and attack the serpentine.

"Not now!" Garmadon growls before turning to Lloyd and Aria "Distract them, I'm going to fix this."

"Yeah but how?" Aria questions

Garmadon runs away into his chamber as Lloyd shrugs. The two quickly face the ninja, who had already defeated the serpentine.

"Let us pass," Kai says "you're no longer kids so don't expect us to go easy on you anymore."

"I never expected you to," Aria replies as she uses her foot to kick up a sword, catching it.

"That was kinda hot," Reika comments before Cole smacks her over the head.

"They're the enemy!" Jay shouts at her

"I know I know," Reika rubs her head "I was only joking."

"With a green ninja like that how are you supposed to beat us," Lloyd chuckles

Reika turns and glares at him "But him, him I'll beat."

Aria and Lloyd suddently drop their weapons and fall to their knees.

"Lloyd! Aria!" Wu runs over to them

"I.. I can't feel my body." Lloyd mutters

"Me neither," Aria says

"Ninja, quickly!" Wu shouts

Wu and the Ninja ran into the chamber Garmadon went into and see a portal.

"He used the Mega Weapon again!" Cole shouts

"Oh, swell. Every time he uses that thing, something really bad happens. Now what?" Jay questions

The ground starts to rumble and turn into sand.

"What's going on?" Kai asks

"Is the city sinking?" Jay questions

"Worse. The city's returning back into the desert, as if it had never been found in the first place" Zane replies

"Uh, what? What does that mean?" Kai asks
