In the Crystal Temple, Reika wakes up in a cage over a pool of lava. She attempts to escape by using her powers, but they fail.
"Don't bother." Lloyd walks into the room "They're made of Venge stone."
"I knew you guys were up to something," Reika grabs the bars of the cage "why are you doing this? What are you doing? I thought we... we came to an understanding."
"That's where you're mistaken." Lloyd replies "We didn't come to anything; I simply chose to wait."
"Did you know she was alive?" Reika questions.
"...I didn't." Lloyd answers honestly.
The computer beeps, catching their attention. On screen, Kai, Jay, Cole, and Zane are navigating through the subway tunnels.
"The ninja will figure out everything Lloyd," Reika says "They're gonna find your subway station, and it's only a matter of time before they find how to get inside Del. It's not too late to stop all of this, just let me go."
"Unfortunately,"

"Oh my-" Reika's jaw drops. "You know I haven't seen you in years, god damn."
"Can I kill her now?" Lloyd growls.
"Not in front of the children," Aria replies as she walks over to him.
"Chil-" Reika turns around to see Hanabusa and Shiki with two 3-year-old boys. "You had kids- you had twins?!"
"And you brought them here?" Lloyd questions.
"Of course I did, the maids were busy." Aria replies. "Once we depart for Ninjago they'll need to stay down here for safety."
"Why in the world are you doing this now?!" Reika shouts "You have kids! Now's the time for peace more than ever, how could you-"
"I'm doing this for my sons," Aria turns and glares at her "Ninjago was a place my mother created for our family to be free. We're no more than caged beasts within these walls. If I want my sons to have a happy carefree life, free from fear. I need to take back our home."
"That's not-"
Purple dots appear on the radar, surrounding the yellow dots representing the ninja.
"What's that?" Reika asks.
The computer spoke "Spiders armed."
"Wait!" Reika shouts "What about Cole?! He's your family Aria! Please don't hurt them!"
"Cole chose his family long ago," Aria mutters.
Aria presses a button and the camera in the tunnels explode.
"NO" Reika screams.
"Well, that's that," Lloyd turns away from the computer "they're gone."
"You're joking right?!" Reika looks up at them "Tell me you're joking!"
