Ela's pov

"You got this Ela" Tom says to me before I walk into the room with a microphone.

We record the song. Tom plays the guitar for me.

As we are listening to the final song, Tom hugging me from behind, his chin on my shoulder. "Sounds amazing" he says.

I have been finally working on my music, mostly because of Tom. Which I'm thankful for. He helped me get a studio and helped me record. I had to get some time of off work for this so hopefully it will be worth it.

We are walking back home. Tom has been basically living with me. Just like in New York. We didn't want to annoy Bill so my apartment it is.

"You should come to the concert" Tom says. "You can finally meet everyone" je adds. I know it would make him happy. "Sure" I tell him smiling.

"Since when do you smoke?" I ask as I walk on the balcony in Tom's room. "I don't" "just, you know" he says throwing the cigarette away. "Mhm" I say getting closer to him.

Tom's pov

"I'm sorry" I say to her. I know she doesn't like it. "It's just a cigarette" I add. She looks at me disappointed, then she starts to turn around. "Stop" I quickly say grabbing her wrist. Turning her to face me. "I will stop" I say. She looks into my eyes then at my lips.
I go to kiss her. "I'm sorry" I tell her again.
"It's okay" she says.

Ela's pov

I don't like when people i care for smoke or drink even though I do it myself. I know it might be hypocritical but I can't unsee my parents.

"Why don't we go to sleep" Tom says. "I need to rest for tomorrow" he adds. "Yeah" I say agreeing.

Next day

I have never been at a concert before. Now I'm standing backstage watching Tom play.

Tom's pov

We are on our last song on the set list. I want Ela to sing her song. I want to call her up and play it with her. I know I probably should have told her to prepare her but I knew she wouldn't agree so I had to go with plan B.

"Goodbye everyone, thank you for coming" Bilm yells. I quickly run to Ela.
"Come on quick" "you're singing" I say running away. "What" I can hear her yell from behind.

"Give us like five more minutes" I say to our manager. He nodds. He knew about this, everyone did. Expect for Ela. I'm sorry Ela but this will help you I swear.

I get back to Ela, people running around her explaining everything she will do. "Tom" she yells as soon as she sees me. "What the fuck" she yell. "Ela I want you to sing your song while I play okay?" I say to her. She looks at me with a face full of different emotions. "Trust me" I say. There is a moment of silence.
"God" she groans. "You can do it" I say kissing her.

I turn away walking back on stage. I asked Bill to talk for me. "Everyone we have a special song for you" "a little surprise" he adds. The whole crowd is screaming.

I start to play Ela's song. After a while she comes out on the stage. She is basically shaking from nerves. But once she starts to sing I can see her relax. She sang for people before just not as many. The whole time she was looking at me, not looking at the crowd full of people.
