~Lisa~
My head was spinning violently. I didn't even know how much time had actually passed.
Every morning, I went out with the strongest warriors of the pack. We had sought help from wolves belonging to the nearest packs. We expanded the search to the four largest packs across the country.
And still... nothing.
It was as if the earth had swallowed her whole.
Every second that passed felt like an eternity.
Not knowing what had happened to her...
Not knowing if she was okay...
Not knowing how she was feeling...
The thought that she was in danger tormented me relentlessly.
A whole week had passed without any news of her, and I was slowly losing my mind from the lack of results.
"Alpha Lisa," one of the commanders of a search group called out.
"The search in the northern region hasn't produced any results. We've searched as far as the southern waters and found nothing. However, we'll continue keeping that area under surveillance."
I nodded.
As on every other day, the search ended in vain. We had found nothing.
Not even a single clue.
I returned home exhausted-more emotionally than physically.
"Lisa, sweetheart..." Mom approached me, the sadness on her face now something I'd grown used to seeing.
"I don't like seeing you like this, my love," she said sorrowfully.
I walked over to the sofa. In front of it was a large window overlooking the dark garden, illuminated only by the bright moon.
Oh, Moon Goddess...
"How do you expect me to be, Mom? She's not here. I feel weak... tired... defeated. There are so many emotions inside me, and I can't let them out."
She came over and hugged me tightly, quietly sobbing.
"We'll find her. I have faith in the Moon Goddess that we will," she whispered.

Meanwhile, in a not-so-remote place...
My head throbbed with pain.
I tried to open my eyes, but they felt heavy and hurt terribly.
Slowly, I adjusted to the dim light filtering through one of the many holes in the place where I was.
The ground was covered with moss, and the ceiling was stained with water leaks.
It was a filthy place.
My hands were tied to an iron chair with something that wasn't rope, but wire. My feet were bound the same way.
Every part of my body ached.
My muscles were numb.
My stomach hurt terribly from hunger.
My head pounded constantly.
My legs had gone numb.
Fear settled deep in my chest.
I looked around desperately, searching for a door or a window, but other than the entrance, there didn't seem to be any way out.
Panic consumed me as I struggled frantically against my restraints.
Suddenly, the door swung open with a loud crash that shook the tiny room.
My breathing stopped the moment I saw a large figure step inside.
"Hello, little one. What a magnificent pleasure it is to see you," he said in a chilling voice.
His tone was cold... rough... terrifying.
I was completely defenseless against whatever he intended to do to me.

Another sleepless night.
I sat alone in the room, pacing back and forth.
Maybe it was just my instincts, but today my mate's scent seemed to linger everywhere.
Every breath I took reminded me of her.
I kept hoping she would walk out of the bathroom wearing her usual pajamas that made her look so adorable, her beautiful brown hair tied in a braid, her lovely face smiling at me before wrapping her arms around me and collapsing into my embrace.
But I knew that wasn't going to happen.
I knew it couldn't.
My mind wandered through countless memories, but I couldn't just sit there doing nothing.
She was out there somewhere, unprotected, and I had no idea what they were doing to her.
My wolf stirred deep inside me.
I snapped out of my thoughts when an intense white light suddenly appeared before me.
The bedroom filled with clouds and mist, while the moon outside the window shone with extraordinary brilliance.
Someone had arrived.
"Alpha Lisa," a majestic yet gentle voice called my name.
The Moon Goddess stood before me.
I immediately knelt, lowering my head in respect.
"Rise, my daughter," she said.
I obeyed, though I kept my head bowed.
"My time here is limited. I only came to tell you that you must find both her... and him. Be patient, my daughter. In the end, all of this will be rewarded."
With another flash of light, she disappeared just as suddenly as she had appeared.
I stood there, stunned and confused.
What had just happened?
Still bewildered, I looked back at the moon.
She had mentioned her... but also him.
Who was he?
