Two weeks later...

~Jennie~

"Where the hell is it?!" he roared in my face, his anger unmistakable.

I refused to speak.

More than anything, he wanted to get the pendant, and he kept threatening to kill me.

But all I could think about was:

Where is Lisa?

I was worried.

I didn't feel well.

I was exhausted and breathing heavily. My mind was racing, while he kept putting more and more pressure on me.

"Stop playing dumb, brat, and tell me..." he growled through clenched teeth, glaring at me with his green eyes full of hatred.

"I already told you-I don't have it anymore... It was taken from me."

He stepped away from me and kicked the chair he had been sitting on, sending it crashing across the room.

At any moment, he could hurt me.
I didn't want anything to happen to me...

Especially not now.

"Do I look stupid to you?" he turned to face me.

"Let's say you really don't have the pendant. But you're still here, and the pendant only keeps your powers under control... I need..."

He began pacing around the room, muttering to himself.

Then he looked at me.

The look in his eyes was dark... twisted... almost insane.

"Are you absolutely sure about what you're telling me?"

Rosé nodded-for what felt like the fifth time.

"Then we're going there right now."

I stood up from my chair.

"No, wait," Rosé stopped me.

"From what I know, if we go straight to her, they'll kill her. We have to do this secretly."

She stopped me in my tracks.

"How do you know all of this?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.

"One of them didn't want to continue with this insane plan, knowing that the most powerful packs were involved. So we decided that person would become our informant."

She answered as if it were obvious.

"Then who do you think we should take with us? Besides the two of us, of course."

"I know three people. They're highly skilled and disciplined in what they do. We'll be there tonight."

I nodded.

"Bring them here so we can plan everything. This has to stay between us. I don't want anyone else finding out," I said quietly.

Rosé nodded in agreement.

I'm coming for you, little one...

P.O.V. P.

"Sir, everything went exactly as we planned. If our calculations are correct, they'll be here tonight."

"Excellent..."

"Prepare the weapons."

I smiled sinisterly, savoring every second.

"I'll finally get my revenge for everything you did to me, Hyuna... and your daughter will pay the price," I murmured as I slowly ran my fingers over the small knife in my hand.
