Chapter Eight: A Mysterious Path Down The Park

I went inside the locker room quickly, I was excited to see what else Olli has planned for us today. I shoved on my shorts and my shirt then I shoved my feet into my shoes. I was about to leave the locker room with my bag, until I stopped and quickly fixed my hair. After I was satisfied with the apperance of my hair, I walked out of the locker room looking calm, cool, and collected; even though, on the inside, I feel like a little kid that's just had too much sugar.

Olli was waiting for me outside the womens locker room. Awh, he actually has the decency to wait outside the womens locker room. He is such a nice friend. He smiled at me, "Are you ready to go?" he asked. "Yeah," I responded happily. "Got everything you need?" he asked. "Yep." I said as we walked to the main entrance of the building. We thanked the lady at the counter for giving us a fun time and she said it was no problem.

And once we went outside, I noticed that the weather got even better, The sky are blue-er, the weather is warmer with a slight touch of wind, the sky smells like freshly cut grass... It is just amazing. The weather really got to me, I stopped Olli to the side and I pulled out my phone. Olli looked at me weirdly.

"What are you doing?" he asked. "Taking pictures... To capture the memories." I said as I clicked on the camera. And pretty soon, we were posing and pulling goofy faces at my phone camera. After a good amount of pictures, we went back to the car and Olli drove us to a park. I wonder why we're here...

I peered at the park. The park was full of little kids playing, which I didn't mind at all, but if what are we going to do at the park?

Finally, Olli parked the car, and we were standing by the trunk of the car. He was about to open the trunk, until he turned to me. He again searched his pocket for something, and there it was, the familiar-looking piece of cloth. Oh no. He's going to blindfold me. Why.

I groaned. "Again, Olli?" I asked. He chuckled, "Yep. It's necessary." he responded. I groaned again, "Necessary for what?" I asked. Olli was finished tieing the blindfold over my eyes. "For something that I shall only know of." he replied, at least he didn't reply with, 'because', which was a relief.

After he let go of me, he said he was getting something from the trunk, then he shut the trunk and grabbed my hand and began taking me to the park. As we got nearer and nearer to the park, I could hear the little kids laughing and screaming. It was a nice sound, although most people would disagree with me.

After a while, the sounds of the laughing and screaming little kids soon disappeared, like they were in a distance. I could feel branches and leaves rubbing up against my skin, I could hear the twigs and leaves we were stepping on. I became scared. Where is Olli taking me, and why? I know that Olli's my best friend and that I should trust him- it's just I do trust him, it's just the fact that he's taking me to a creepy, quiet place on your birthday, you know? I don't know, it's just a creepy setting and feeling.

As we got closer and closer, I could smell food. I could smell grilled cheese sandwiches, bread rolls, biscuits, salad, fresh cut fruit and jello... My mouth was going to start drooling any minute at the smell of the wonderous foods. We continued to walk and walk, and get felt up by branches and leaves until we came to a stop.

Olli ordered me to stop and to stay where I was. He told me to wait for a few minutes and that he was right here, checking on things. I waited for what felt like 50 years, I sighed and I groaned, then I put all my weight on my right leg.

"Okay, now open." he said. And when I did, I couldn't believe the sight. It is... Beautiful.
