Noah POV

Going to bed that night after talking with Elle, I had mixed feelings. The emotions I felt when she told me that the girl I had fallen in love with might no longer exist. I had no doubt that I was still in love and even madly in love with this girl no matter what she is or does. But I got the feeling that if Shelly might have been attracted to me, maybe Dr. Rochelle Evans isn't interested at all.

Every time I closed my eyes, I saw her. Not Shelly, a teenager I dated 6 years ago, or Elle Evans, a medical student in her bridesmaid dress at her father's wedding. But Dr. Rochelle Evans in her elegant suit! I felt so lost that I poured myself a glass of Whiskey. While looking at my drink in disgust, I dialed Chloe's phone number.

- What does this honor mean to me, Noah Flynn?

- I need you to get me back on track, Clo!

- And that it was the cause of your derailment this time, you loser?

- I went to spend a weekend in LA and... I saw Elle again!

- I see ... and a few things happened?

I stared at my glass with envy as if I wanted to find an answer to it so that my dreams would become reality!

- Noah?

- I am... still... so in love with her!

- And did you tell her?

- Yes, she didn't say yes or no! She told me that she understood why I did what I did but that it was going to be a while before she felt ready to trust me again.

- Do you want my opinion Flynn? " Chloe told me, but she didn't wait for my answer before giving me her opinion! " Elle Evans is a really smart girl. She realized that in some ways what you did was for her own good and chose to forgive you. I know a bunch of girls who would have been willing to take your balls off for doing something like that to them. Not Elle! But it's normal for her to react like that! You told her you were ready to fight for her and then less than a week later, you left for Boston, leaving her behind!

I grunted when I realized the effect I had on Elle!

- Trust me, Flynn! If Elle wants to take things slowly and have the conversations to clear up the difficulties you've been through, that's really wise of her. This will probably prevent you from breaking up in 2 years when the same difficulties will resurface. Because they're going to come back, believe me?

- You're right Clo!

- I'm always right, Flynn! And this time, please don't hold back from showing your emotions. They're not your enemies, Noah! They're only going to help you understand what's happened and what's going on. If you express them, it will allow Elle to understand you!

- I hate these emotional discussions!

- If you want Elle back, Noah, you have no choice! I've told you before and I'm going to tell you again: I know you're arrogant, mule-headed and annoying at times! But I know you're not stupid in the face of that!

Chloe was right! This time, I didn't have to hold back my emotions. I needed to rebuild my relationship with Elle. I had told her about a journey on the path of memories. I wanted us to go back to all the places that had been important to us throughout our relationship. I spent several hours lying in bed, staring at the ceiling, juggling the different possibilities and the time I had to spend in Los Angeles. I came up with a plan, we started with the Kissing Booth where it all started. Subsequently:

A motorcycle ride

The park's gazebo

Little Tokyo
