I look at the menu
We are at the teahouse but...
'i have no idea what these dishes are.'
I can somehow understand japanese...but that doesn't mean i know what these foods are.
'Unagi, okonomiyaki, udon..ah! I know that! But i dont know what it tastes like..i will just order chazuke...'

"Y/N what do you want to order?"
Atsushi asks
"I will have chazuke as well"

"You're unbelievable dazai, who says 'what a nice river' and jumps into it in the middle of work?!"

*gulp* 'THIS IS DELICIOUS'
I turn to look at Atsushi to tell him how delicious the food was but he was inhaling the food...thirty bowls finished in 15 MINS? Damn bro.

I didnt realise how hungry i was until i actually ate
Dazai And kunikida were arguing in the background about ideals and all.

"NOWHERE IN THIS BOOK IS WRITTEN THAT MY PARTNER IS A SUICIDAL MANIAC!" Kunikida points to his book
"Swicoidal mayiac?"
Atsushi speaks while eating
"Shut up!"
Kunikida sits down
"Nowhere in my project expenses page will you find written that i will buy a million bowls of chazuke for a snot nosed brat!"
"Swot yoshed brash?"
"Like i said its a job!"
"Wasch kinsh of yob"
I look back and forth between them, suppressing a laugh
"Our job today? It involves the military"
Dazai turns to kunikida
"How are you two communicating?"

I laugh lightly. It's going exactly like in the anime. Is my interruption not acknowledged? Its better to stay that way not gonna lie...changing the storyline would be very....well, troublesome. It will all the stay the same, nothing major is gonna change...right?

I looked at the empty bowls deep in thought, trying to think what i was going to do next.
Not noticing that Dazai was eyeing me suspiciously.

"Youre a real life saver"
I snap out of my thoughts and look at Atsushi with a smile, he said that so softly. He really meant that.
Kunikida, forgetting that he was angry, looked at Atsushi with his eyebrows raised.
"After leaving the orphanage and coming to Yokohama, i have nothing to eat and nowhere to sleep. I thought i would have an ultimate death."

"Youre from an institute?" Dazai inquired as he slightly tilted his head.
"You could say that, but they chased me out"
"Hm...and what about you?"

I flinch and turn my face to look at Dazai, not expecting the question.
"Oh me? I am also an orphan"
"An orphan huh? From where? You dont look like a local"
Dazai narrows his eyes with a knowing smirk.
"Ah well...you see, my ethnicity is Y/E (your ethnicity) but i grew up in an orphanage here.."
I was shocked at myself for being able to make this up on the spot. I could feel my right leg shake slightly, as if i was gonna get arrested or something.
"Hm...i see"
Dazai nods and looks back to Atsushi. I breathe out the breath i didnt know i was holding. Did he believe me? Obviously not, he's Dazai, but i was off the hook for now.

"That reminds me. You said earlier that your current job involves the military. What is your line of work exactly?"
"Oh, we are just detectives"
Dazai says with a glint in his eyes.
"The Armed Detective agency. Those who have supernatural powers"
Kunikida states with seriousness in his voice.

Atsushi widens his eyes in shock And he thinks for a while, staring at the two. As the two continue to do their own thing.

Atsushi whispers to me.
"Ive heard of the Armed Detective Agency, ive been told they possess supernatural powers...but does that apply to these two as well-?"
I look at the two, Kunikida was jotting down something in his notebook and Dazai was just day dreaming. I sweatdrop.
"Do you want to know my honest thoughts?"
I whisper back to Atsushi and he just shrugs and awkwardly smiles.

"Oh? oHHH!"
Dazai's eyes sparkle. He looks above. Atsushi and me look at where he was looking.
'Ah, this scene' i snicker.

"Look at that nice beam up there!"
Dazai looked at it excitedly.
"Don't analyze whether you can hang yourself in a random teahouse we just found!"
Kunikida honestly looked tired of Dazai's BS.
"What?? I am just talking about the hanging health method!"
"What?"
"You don't know?! Hurry up, write it down!"
Kunikida starts writing in his notebook
"Hanging.....  health.... method...."

The answer is c) both.

Kunikida grabs Dazai's shoulder and rocks him back and forth while expressing his frustration.
Atsushi just looks at them in surprise.

I decide to ask the next question.
"What was your job today?"

Kunikida pauses.
"Today's job doesn't require any secrecy, i guess we could tell you. We are looking for a certain tiger on behest of the military"

Atsushi speaks, voice louder than a whisper but not as loud as it needs to be to be properly heard.
"A tiger?"

"A man eater who has recently appeared in these parts."
Dazai starts
"It has ransacked warehouses. Although no reports of it eating anyone has been there..."

*Crash*

Right now the storyline is going exactly like the anime. Is it going to stay like that...? Hmmmmmmmmm, i wonder....
