"Just don't push me away"

I did wanted to go to the track with Lando, especially because I can imagine how much pressure is on him. But as much as i wanted to, I really had to study for my upcoming exam.

And that's what I did. After I ate the breakfast that Lando prepared for me, which was surprisingly good, I sat down and studied.

Hours passed by and to be honest I don't know how many. Once I'm in the flow the time passes by in a hurry. At around lunchtime I finally look up from my Uni stuff because my phone rings.

I pick up and it's Charles .

"Mon Soleil, how is your study session going?"

"Pretty good so far, how is your media day going?"

"I stared earlier so I just finished. What do you say, I'll come and get you so we can have some lunch. You need a study break anyways, so what do you say?"

"Alright, but just because I miss you"

He laughs "I miss you too, send me Landos address and I'll pick you up in an hour."

"Good, then I can get something more done in the meantime!"

He laughs "yeah i figured, see you later"

We end the call and after i send him the address I get back to studying. The time flies by once again, i snap back in as I hear the doorbell ringing.

I get up and open to door, seeing Charles. I hug him tight, it's only been a few days but I missed him, as always.

"Good to see you! Let me guess you forgot the time again?" he asks me with a smile.

"Uh maybe? Give me five minutes, I just have to change". I say before I hurry upstairs. I change into a black jeans and again one of Landos hoodies.

What?

I just can't help myself.

They're so compfy. As long as he doesn't mind I have to take the chance.

I refresh my hair and makeup before I finally make my way downstairs. Charles smiles as he sees me "New hoodie I see? You found another one to steal from?"

I laugh "don't worry Charlie i will steal yours anyways"

He laughs and we head outside to his car. We drive off to a restaurant we wanted to try out. We get seated and place our order.

"Now tell me, how is it going?" he asks smiling.

"What do you mean?"

"Mon Soleil don't play dump, that doesn't suit you. You and Lando..?"

I shrug "we're friends I don't know what you want to hear?"

He giggles "You always move in with your friends and share a bed?"

"We share beds very often Charlie." I smirk.

He laughs "oh I don't count, you're more like my sister. Now spill the tea.. did you already kissed?"

"CHARLES!" I punch him against his arm to shut him up but he starts laughing.

"OMG that's a YESSS!"

I sigh and laugh too "No we didn't.. well it was close but somehow we always get interrupted. If I'm being honest.. i think its better this way. It's already complicated. Throwing my feelings in the mix would make everything even more complicated.."

He smirks "so you DO have feelings for him ?"

I laugh and shake my head "that's everything you've heard, no?" he nods exited "I wouldn't call it feelings yet."
