11th July 2022, Monaco

Lando and I drive to Monaco in his car - the sound of his engine gives me goosebumps while I enjoy the view of the coast. I feel his eyes on me so I look over to him and smile. "What is it?" I ask him.

"You're so beautiful.." he has a slight smile on his lips.

My cheeks feel like they're flaming hot. I bite my lip and look out of my window again "Thank you.."

We keep driving in silence for a while, not the uncomfortable kind more like the welcoming silence after a busy weekend.

As I kept looking out of the window I feel him putting his hand on my thigh. My eyes fall on his hand, which actually seems to be right where it belongs.

Thank god I decided against a skirt this morning. I'm not sure if I could keep my shit together if his hand would lay on my bare skin..

I put my hand over his and look up to him once again. He has his eyes on the road but I see a smile playing around his lips.

My heart skips a beat as I feel his hand slightly squeezing my thigh. I zone out for a bit and keep my eyes on the street trying to keep my shit together.

I don't know what happened or what changed but he makes me so nervous in moments like this that I'm questioning everything...

We keep driving, his thumb strokes over my thigh from time to time. "So what are your plans for tonight?" he asks after a while.

"Hmm I'm not sure yet. I thought about ordering way too much unhealthy food and binge something on Netflix."

He chuckles and hesitates before he continues "Would you mind doing this at my place?"

"Your place?" I say smirking.

"Well yeah... food is on me then, can't resist that one now can you?" He smiles at me before he focuses back on the street.

I laugh "But I want Pizza."

"Perfect."

"and.. Chinese!"

He laughs "Sure"

"OH! And I need ice cream!"

He parks the car in front of a grocery store. "Everything you like darling."

"Okay but what are we doing here then?"

"We will get some Pizza so we have something to eat while waiting for the rest, because there is no way I want to handle a hangry Vic. Aaaand they have your favorite ice cream here."

He opens his car door and gets out. I shake my head and smile before I follow him. We get way too many snacks, Ice cream flavors and Pizzas.

We exit the store and I smile bright. Lando looks at me and laughs "You're adorable, you know that right?"

"Feed me and I won't complain"

He puts everything in the backseat and opens the door for me. I shake my head "Don't be a gentleman. I can't handle that.". I get inside and he bends down to me, leaning against the frame with his arm.

"You can't handle what excactly, darling?"

I smile up to him, he is so close to me that I'm about to loose my mind. "I- uhh.. If we don't drive now I'll get hangry."

He smirks and licks the corner of his lips. "Am I making you nervous..?"

"What?? No I-" I get interrupted by someone behind Lando.
