As Yn sat there holding a crying Jane he thought to himself. He thought of all the time that passed by and all the things that had happened. It was a lot. He had an episode that forced him and his parents to move at seven. He moved to Jane's neighborhood and they quickly became friends. Then six years later, his mom died giving birth which caused another outburst. They moved again leaving Jane behind, along with Jess and Lia who had moved in a few months prior. Then he moved on with life till his father passed away. Three years later? His sister passes away. A lot of things.

Yn looks down at his childhood crush, who is currently pouring her heart out into his chest. He hugs her back tightly and rubs his hand through her hair. She seemingly starts calming down at this. She looks up at him, a bit of her makeup smeared and smudged. She smiles slightly and starts giggling a bit.

Jane: I-I'm so glad you're back... I m-missed you so much....

Yn: I did too Jane. I'm sorry.... But, now that I'm here.... I don't think I'll be going anywhere anytime soon.

Jane smiles brightly for the first time he's seen since he's been here. She suddenly hugs him much tighter as if afraid the moment she let go he would fade to dust. Yn himself holds her tighter as well, resting his chin upon her crown. He slowly rocks side to side further calming her down. Though he's having a hard time ignoring how Jane is couple notches away from snapping his spine.

Yn: Jane, this is a very wonderful moment, but I prefer my back not to be broken....

Jane squeaks slightly and immediately loosens her hug. She smiles with a look of both embarrassment and apology. Yn can't help but notice the light dusting of pink on her porcelain cheeks.

Jane: S-Sorry.... Forgot how strong I am...

Yn: All you girls are pretty strong, aren't you?

Yn chuckles a little after saying this. Jane simply looks up at him smirking smugly. As if to show off, she suddenly lifts him up off in his feet with just her arms wrapped around him in a hug. Keep in mind Yn is a six foot tall, two hundred plus pounds, fully grown man. Jane is a five foot four young woman who, while curvy in the right areas, is more on the slender side.

Yn: Point proven....

Jane: Kinda comes with being a proxy. The only person who isn't one technically is Rogue. She has personal reasons for that.

Yn: Fair enough. Can you put me down now....? My head's starting to throb....

Jane immediately puts him down blushing embarrassed once more.

Jane: Sorry....

Yn: It's cool. So..... We have a lot of catching up to do.... Don't we....?

Jane seems to falter a little as Yn says this. A lot has happened to both of them in such a relatively short time. They both went through their own hells and came out much different from who they were. Jane became a killer, and Yn practically has an almost literal demon in his head. Yn looks at her concerned upon seeing her mood shift.

Jane: Yeah... We do don't we....?

Yn nods softly. Jane softly takes his hand and gently pulls it as she tilts her head behind her.

Jane: Can we talk in my room....?

Yn nods his head softly. He would be lying if he told you his face didn't heat up a touch. Going into a girl's room that wasn't his sister's? And it was his childhood crush on top of that? The implications, although very unlikely, did not escape his mind. Nevertheless, he followed Jane, who hadn't released his hand, as she guided him towards her room. Funnily enough her room was right across from his new room that he has yet to fully step into. Apart from being chained to the bed. Walking into Jane's room was a bit different than expected. Her room was pretty basic to be honest. Obsidian black walls with a stark white carpet made the base of her room. She had an ivory bookshelf next to her bed, seemingly for the convenience of not having to get up from her bed to grab any of her various novels and books she had packing the shelves. On the other side of her bed was an elegant black wood desk with several drawers and a decent sized mirror. Upon it lay pieces of jewelry and makeup as well as other beauty products. Jane always was a girly girl. The bed itself was a plain queen sized bed draped in black sheets and bed coverings. There were at least six pillows and even a couple plushies, which were the only splashes of color.

Yn: About what I expected to be honest...

Jane: What's that supposed to mean?

Jane looks at him with an accusatory glare. Yn holds his hands up in defense quickly trying to cover his ass.

Yn: I just figured you'd have a fairly plain Jane kinda room...

Yn stops for a second to realize his accidental pun. Jane stares at him not sure how to feel before punching him in the shoulder lightly. Yn gives a simple "ow" in response. Jane then softens her look before dragging him to her bed and sitting them both down on it. She gently holds his hand in hers as she leans against his shoulder. Yn can't stop the heat from rising to his cheeks. His childhood crush is being so intimate. In a daring move our protagonist leans his head against hers hesitantly. She doesn't pull away or fight it.

Yn: So uh... You, Jess, and Lia... Updated your wardrobes.....

Jane: You could say that. I guess I should tell you what happened. To keep a long story short, after you left things went downhill. Jess got burned, went crazy, brutalized Lia after killing her parents. Then she came after my family and killed them before burning me....

Yn stares at her jaw dropped to the floor. Did things really go that wrong? Yn doesn't know what to think. One of his best friends murdered four innocent people and maimed two more. Just because I wasn't there.

Jane: I see that look on your face... It's not entirely your fault. Kevin and his fuckin goons had their part....

Yn sours entirely at the mention of their names. They were his bullies for a long time. He knew Jess and Lia had their own scuffles with them. He was actually pretty satisfied with the idea that Jess kicked their asses a little bit before he left. But knowing they had something to do with Jess going off the rails.... That made his blood boil.

Jane: They're dead now if it makes you feel any better. She got two of them at the party they burned her in. The last one died mysteriously in his juvie cell.

Yn: We both know who did that...

Jane: Of course.

She chuckles a small bit before her face adorns a mournful scowl once more. Yn looks down at my knees.

Yn: So that's how Jane Tod Richardson became Jane the Killer huh...?

Jane: Along with "Jess the Killer" and "Homicidal Lia"....

Yn sighs before draping an arm around Jane's shoulders. She jumps slightly before slowly leaning into him and feeling his warmth. Yn rests his his cheek on the crown of her head. Her hair smelled like lavender. Of course it did. She was a little basic but lavender was a good smell.

Yn: I'm sorry I wasn't there... I really am... I'm sorry I couldn't say goodbye.... I never wanted to leave...

Jane looks up at him and softly smiles.

Jane: I forgive you... It's fine. I was... I just overreacted I guess... I'm just glad you're back....

Suddenly she hugs Yn tightly again. Still making sure to be gentle but she holds him close. She nestles her head just under his chin sighing contently. Yn himself blushes once more but he instinctively wraps his arms around her.

Yn: I missed you too...

Jane and Yn spent a good bit of time just being together and rekindling the flame that once burned. They read together and talked. Talking took up the majority of time spent. That was, until Jess kicked the door down and stormed in. Without giving Jane the time to flip her shit, Jess grabs Yn and drags him out of Jane's room by the hood of his jacket. This is going to be very interesting indeed.
