𝓘 woke up this morning to see that there was an akuma alert, so I forced Plagg out of his comfort, and transformed and went to see the problem, but when I arrived . . . I saw that Ladybug already took care of it. She told me that it was a child that went on a rampage after her mother took away 'play-time' on her phone, apparently the kid got mad because the mother would usually shut them up with her phone instead of giving her child attention—I mean I can relate, except it's not with electronics.

But geez, I guess Hawkmoth got desperate again and decided, "What better way to steal the miraculouses this time than to have a kid do it!" Like really? That's the best you've got? Like, a toddler wasn't enough for you?

But besides that dilly dally, it was great to finally see Ladybug again. I felt a sense of comfort and perkiness being in her presence. She smiled and looked at her communicator. "Kitty~" she teased over, my face heats up, "What is it M'lady?" I catch in response. She closes her yo-yo, "I wanted to text you the other day, but I wasn't sure when you'd be transformed again, so . . . I didn't."

I part my mouth open in surprise, "Oh . . . that's okay, I knew we'd see each other again." She takes a sigh of relief, "Good, glad I got that out the way, I want us to stay in touch even if we're apart, so . . . feel free to use your stick to, discuss any plans you might . . . " she stops and looks into my eyes, "H-Have with me." My stomach feels queasy, and the words that come out of her mouth almost feel slow enough to make me so excited. She's really thinking about us? I am so happy I'm not alone.

I try to fight back the words, "Y-Yeah, I'll keep an eye on it, it'd be nice . . . to, see each other more~" I look away slightly embarrassed of the emotional response. She puts a hand to my cheek turning me back to her, "Say Cat . . . I want you to take me somewhere, pick me up!" My face tingles from her touch, "O-Okay, where did you want to go?" I stutter back. She smiles even more, "To André!" I pick her up slowly and smile back at her feeling the redness of my cheeks. "Perfect!"

Jumping from roof top to roof top, I couldn't believe what was happening. She was talking to me casually, flirting with me, and wanting to see me even more~ and now—we're going to André, not as friends, but a couple~ I look back towards her head to check on her and she surprises me with a kiss on the cheek!

"L-Ladybug?" I almost collapse from a heart attack! She giggles, "Keep going! we're almost there! Don't let my attacks fall through your defense~" I try to keep my legs strong, I didn't know I could be so powerless!

We settle down and hear the music from his usual ice-cream stand. ♫ My name is André! André! Glacé! The sweetheart matchmaker! With one scoop or two, I'll find up for you with magical ice-cream flavors-♫ He immediately notice's us and stops singing. "Ooh Ladybug, and Cat Noir! What dazzling flavors might I serve for you?"

I wrap my arm around her waist and we smile at each other. André doesn't hesitate to catch what's going on. He prominently sets up the flavors for the perfect blend of romance~

"Ah, let's-a-see-here~ a scoop of pistachio on top of la blueberry pour Le Chat Noir!" He looks back at Ladybug, "And . . . a-dash of chocolate-chips! on top-of strawberry~ with another scoop of . . . Peppermint! Pour La Ladybug~" I latch off her waist and stand there with her while we hold our deserts. "What odd but weirdly rooted flavors! Worth a shot . . . oui?" We both say, "Merci" and André smiled at us, and he waves as we walk away.

We walk down the sidewalks close to the river. Both slowly, but correlating our pace. Ladybug hums a tune: ♫d-d-d-d, duh duh duh, duhh duhhh♫ I try to catch on but I don't seem to recognize it, I decide to ask, "What are you humming?" She closes her eyes, "Some tune that repeats in my head for a bit, but I can't say what it is . . . " She responds, leaving me curious. I decide to reply, "Well, whatever it is, it sounds soothing~" she opens her eyes taking another bite of ice cream, "Mhm~"

░LADYBUG░

Everything seemed just as how I wanted. Except, the song Luka wrote for me dwindling in my head! His break up is getting to me but . . . I decide to not think too much and instead relax and just get it out of my system humming out loud (it's not like Cat Noir would know where it's from anyway.) Today was peaceful, and that's all I needed.

No drama from school, no direct conversation with people right now, and no-

"Ladybug . . ." I hear a name call out.

I snapped back to reality and realized who was right in front of us. Kagami . . .

Cat Noir stopped eating his ice-cream, "Kagami what're you doing here?" She stops in front of us rubbing her arm looking sideways, "I didn't know you guys were going to be here, but since you are . . . I wanted to apologize on behalf of my behavior." I look at Cat Noir for a minute.

He waves his hand trying not spill his ice-cream, "No—Kagami don't worry about that, we're just glad you're safe!" She looks shy. I step forward and put my hand on her shoulder, "Please, forgive me instead for what I've done, you've done nothing to give us an apology." She shakes off my hand, "No, I've fixed a lot recently, and this is one of the things I couldn't shake off, Ladybug, Cat Noir . . . " She bows, "Please accept my apology, I won't be rude again!" I stare back at Cat Noir kind of not knowing what to say next.

He takes over handing me his ice-cream, walking over kneeling down,"Hey, it's our job to save those who are in the hands of Hawkmoth, everybody makes mistakes, now stand up, we forgive you." She steadies herself and stands up smiling. "Thank you, sorry to disturb your . . ." She finally realizes what's right in front of her, "Date . . ." I clear my throat, "No, please take care! Cat Noir is right!" I bring out a charm from my yo-yo, "Take this! If you keep it on you . . . you'll be safe from his reach!" Kagami grasps the charm and looks back at us.

"I will keep this on me for as long as I live, have a good evening, both of you." We smile at her while she departs. "Didn't expect that one, did we M'lady?" I zone out in thought. Maybe I should go talk to Kagami as Marinette and see how she's doing.

"M'lady?" Cat Noir repeats, I jump back in at my name, "Oh sorry Kitty~ I got lost in thought about . . . Hawkmoth." I try to reassure. He nods his head, "Whatever it is, feel free to talk to me about anything." I face towards him and look at him for a moment. He seems so . . . cheerful, it's kind of nice seeing him that way. But, there's just stuff I need to do.

"Cat Noir, I should . . . get going; it's been a pleasure to meet with you for a little bit, hopefully we can do longer next time." He hands me back my ice-cream, "Of course, I'll wait however long you need~" I take my ice-cream and then wave back at him jumping towards the sky without even realizing that my ice-cream melted, but perhaps that was good thing because . . . the flavor wasn't really to my liking. I went somewhere to throw it away. I'm glad he didn't see that.
