░LADYBUG/MARINETTE❀

ꕤ Thursday ꕤ

𝓘 reach the subway and watch as the trains start rapidly running back and forth trapping the people inside unable to even have it come to a halt. I grunt and try to wrap my yo-yo around the train to have it stop. But it was no use. It had a mind of its own.

The gates that checked people in kept swinging back and forth and people started to panic as the lights kept flickering on and off while the system transmissions kept spouting random stations that weren't even in Paris until it said something else: "Ah—Ladybug you've finally made it to the first stop! Unfortunately for you, you won't be able to ever find where I'm actually at! That is of course . . . if you bring me Marinette Dupain-Cheng!"

I look around while furrowing my brows, "What makes you think I'll ever bring you her? Look whatever happened between you and your friend I'm sure you can fix—you don't have to go through this!"

The transmissions glitched, "Oh? Is that what you think? You have secrets too! Don't think you're off the list! You'll be just as important as her! I will find out everything she's hiding and I will find yours and Cat Noir's secret-identity!"

The transmissions goes off. I assist the remaining panicked people up the stairs trying to make them go over the gates. I bring my yo-yo to the side of my ear. "Cat Noir, where are you? I need you! are you seeing this right now? Marinette Dupain-Cheng might be in danger!"

He doesn't respond so it leads to voice mail. Where is he?! Ugh—out of all the times I need him here! I decide to think for a moment... if he isn't able to show up maybe I can get someone else? I fly over the gates and up the stairs swinging towards my house. But, on the way there all the lights flickered, the cars were driving and crashing on their own. I saved a couple people from their car and their cellphones started to trap people inside apps on their phone. I witnessed as a lady checked her cellphone and her body pixelated right in front of me!

I stopped to see where she went and when I picked up her phone, she was trapped in this dinosaur game. I quickly placed the phone back on the floor and moved away from it. It was un-predictable and I'm not sure how to handle this. It seemed from left and right something was going on, whether it'd be a vending machine chasing someone, a register eating everything in sight, or maybe even a screen trapping people inside, it was going crazy!

The real question is where is the semi-monster and where is she? So... I get back to my place. I close the windows and secure my doors I de-transform and check in on my mom and dad. "Mom, Dad, are you both okay?" I don't find them anywhere, not even in their rooms, the kitchen, or the bakery.

I look at my living room screen and then I see them, trapped in the home-page! "Mom, Dad, can you hear me?" They both nod and try to say something but it comes to a mute, I couldn't hear a thing! I panic and try to put myself back together, "Look everything will be okay! Ladybug and Cat Noir will save you! Please stay safe!"

I watch as they begin to cry in the tv but maybe it was better this way. At least they wouldn't be hurt in some type of other way and this gives me time to come up with a plan. I go back up stairs and immediately throw my  computer screen on the ground breaking it. I take my cell-phone and break that too, and anything else that seems to be electronic. "M-Marinette what are you doing?" Tiki says in shock. "Tiki I can't let Alya know I'm here, it would be exposing you guys if she finds me!"

The others Kawamis come out and Mulo begins to stutter, "Uhm... M-Marinette we have a problem... Lady-WI-Fi came and checked your room earlier so Trixx used her mirage to create an illusion of you to get her out of your room." I gasp, "You saw her? Where was I heading? Where is she?!"

Mulo spits out, "She was heading towards the park... I think she might be trying to get you to go there and admit what you're hiding!" I pause for a moment leaning on my desk. "Mulo, Trix, thank you but using your miraculous without a holder is dangerous!" Tiki nods and Trixx comes forward and tries to explain, "I'm sorry Marinette, but I had no choice! I couldn't let her find out it where we were!"

I look down, maybe I could use this to my advantage... I look at Sass and back at Trixx. "Okay, here's what's going to happen, I need your second chance Sass! And as for you Trixx you're coming with me!" Trixx and Sass nods.

"Tikki—SPOTS ON!"

I fly towards Luka's boat and immediately rush into his room. "Ladybug? You're-" I take out the miraculous, "Shh-there's no time to explain, did you destroy everything electric?" I try to hold up my confidence and ignore how I feel. He looks down at his guitar, it begins to talk, "Marinette doesn't love you at all~ you always try to play me but it seems you are the one that gets played-" Luka frowns and crashes his guitar into the ground breaking it so it wouldn't utter another sound.

My mouth opens in awe as I didn't expect that the guitar would speak... much less about me. I guess Luka's still just as conflicted as I am. "Okay now that that's done, take this! I'm going to need you to do something for me!" Luka's frown tries to turn neutral and he takes the box to meet with Sass again.

"Good s-seeing you Luka." Luka nods and greets him back. He says, "Sass—SCALES SLITHER!" Luka's transformed and I now explain to him what's going to happen. "Okay no time to waste, I need your second chance, so you're going to look for Marinette Dupain-Cheng, she should be heading towards the park, but don't worry the real Marinette is safe, this one is an illusion, I need you find where Lady-Wi-Fi will appear next, I'm going to draw her out and protect this 'illusion.' You're going to watch and see if Lady-Wi-Fi takes the bait so I can pull out my lucky charm, meaning you'll reverse time if she catches me, remember—whatever semi-monster she's using is enhancing everything's capabilities so I need you to be on your best guard!" I sternly evaluate while looking at him.

He grips his hands into a fist, "I understand Ladybug, I'll do whatever you need me to do!" We leave preparing for battle.
