░13░ TRIEZE【Finally-A-Hangout】

ꕤ Tuesday ꕤ

𝓙𝓤𝓢𝓣 finished up my piano practice while my father watched me. I made sure to ask him yesterday if I could hangout with my friends. He told me I couldn't go anywhere . . . so I tried to suggest something else, but he wouldn't listen. I ended up talking to Natalie about it and I told her, "If I can't leave, can they at least come hangout in my room?" Natalie simply nodded and left.

She came back to me this morning to tell me that they can come over and hangout for a little because apparently Nino went and talked to her on the the camera, but only if I do perfect on my practice. So I made sure to do my absolute best not to mess up, it gave me a lot of anxiety, but . . . I managed!

My father was surprisingly impressed, "Very good Adrien, as for your request, I've thought it over and I've reached a conclusion that you may be allowed to have your friends over, only for today. Do I make myself clear?" I try to stop my fingers from shaking, "Yes father, as clear as day." I hold up a smile. "Your body guard will be standing outside the door; now I have a very urgent matter to attend to." He leaves the room.

Natalie approaches me, "Give me their names and I'll let them in." My face instantly brightens up I and give her the names.

"Hey my fellow dude! Did I tell you I'd make us all hangout or what?" Nino comes in bringing Max, Kim, and Ivan and we all come in for a group hug. "You really did it—thanks Nino!" I say back to them in happiness, as they let go and explore my room.

"Woah, according to my calculations, this place seems to be very spacious, not only spacious but I can tell you have several collector items just as the very last time." Max says in awe pushing up his glasses. I walk over to my pinball machine, "Wanna play?" He scoffs, "Game on!"

Time passes endlessly: I defeated Max in pinball, gave Plagg his cheese in the cabinet, played basketball, watched the 2nd movie of Ladybug and Catnoir (which is so inaccurate, I mean I would never be in love with... Rena Rouge, or much less breakup with Ladybug while she dates Viperion—like who wrote this?)

"This is completely bogus! Cat Noir would never be in love with Rena Rouge!" Nino yells at the credit screen. We all stare at each other on the couch and laugh. "Oh Nino, I think you're exactly right, don't you think... he's more for Ladybug?" I say drinking my soda.

Nino turns to me, "Ladybug? Don't you think they would be dating by now if that was the case?" I glance over, "Well maybe they are, they just like to, keep it a . . . secret." I say back with ease, Ivan puts his hands to his forehead on the other side, "Nah, I think Cat Noir should find someone else, Ladybug is too . . . how do I say this, different!" The guys laugh, I gap open my mouth, what does he mean by that? Kim adds on, "Yeah, Ladybug might be hot and all, but haven't you seen from the Ladyblog? She's so not into him, it's hilarious!" They laugh even louder, I look down kind of sad.

Max is the only one not laughing, he speaks up next to Ivan, "Love comes in many ways, we can't judge a level based on how it looks, we have to work our way through it!" The guys stop. "Yeah whatever . . . maybe you just don't know because you haven't dated anyone." Kim adds back, Max looks kinda upset. Nino pats me on the shoulder, "Don't worry dude—you'll find someone special, I found my lucky girl, and I'm sure Max will too." I let go of my sadness and try to appreciate what he was saying, but it's hard because I already did but I can't talk about her to anyone.

"Oh yeah, you got your girl, and I got mine, she's the most beautiful, kind, and empathetic!" Ivan adds bringing his hands together. Kim looks at us and scoffs, "Well I don't need to stay in one relationship, I got ladies begging for me left and right, so why not explore... am I right Adrien?" He lifts up his soda for a cheers, I push down his drink.

"Actually, for me, I think just staying with one person and focusing everything on them building your max potential is better than messing with people's hearts." Kim gasps. Nino puts his hand over my shoulder, "Yeah—that's what I'm saying! You know the stuff!" Nino says to me while using his other hand to point.

It just occurred to me . . . Nino was kinda depressed at science, "Oh not to bring down the mood, but since we're taking about the girls, how are things with Alya? You guys talking again? I know you felt hurt before..." I say to him. Nino let's go and tilts his hat, "Actually, she tried asking me for a favor, but I kind of blew her off..." We all look at him concerned, Max asks, "What is it?"

Nino continues, "She asked if we could get Luka to come to the park today, but I don't know why . . . " We all look back at each other, "Maybe they want him to meet with Marinette?" Ivan inquires. I look back and Kim speaks up, "But why would they meet if they just broke up? I seriously doubt they want to see each other." Nino frowns, and I start to think saying, "Maybe they're concerned for Luka? we . . . haven't seen him in a bit?" I try to say almost feeling a bit worried for him.

I don't know too much about Marinette's situation, nor about Luka, I only see him at the band sometimes—but I know Luka was akumatized because of her. Nino perks up, "Well fellas, I think I should talk to my girl before anything else." Nino states trying to savage what happened. He gets up and packs his stuff while the guys stand with him and do the same, "Thanks for having us over Adrien." Max says, I put out my hand for a handshake I made with the other guys, "It was no . . ." I look down, thinking about if I could even do this again, ". . . problem, no problem at all—thanks to Nino!" I look back and wink.

Nino smiles and waves, "Anytime!" They all leave and my bodyguard watched, I wave to them while they go out. It was nice while it lasted . . . But I realize life is only a series of train wrecks with slight commercial breaks.

"Adrien, perfect timing, your father has scheduled that you will go to the park in 30 minutes and do another photo shoot with Vincent, campaigning the subway boards to bring out the liveliness of Paris." Natalie says sternly while clearing her throat, "His words, not mine."

I look down in anguish, I feel already so tired, but whatever my father wants: he gets.
