ꕤ Monday ꕤ

𝓘 woke up this morning feeling, a-m-a-z-i-n-g~
My date with Ladybug yesterday... felt like a dream! I don't think I'll ever get over it. You know, I used to think she wouldn't need me anymore after she became guardian, but . . . since we're together now, it couldn't be better! I start my usual routine: stretch, take a shower, get changed, brush my hair, go down to eat... alone (but it doesn't actually bother me today, I feel like I'm on cloud nine!) come back up, brush my teeth, organize my bag, review my schedule with Natalie, and . . . sneak some cheese to Plagg, and head off to school!

I thought waking up empty was to be usual for me, but now I feel so full—full of excitement for the day! this is gonna sound weird . . . but I hope Hawkmoth akumatizes someone, because then I'll see her . . . also, I love seeing her in action, she's so smart, and pretty too, I can't believe we're finally more than partners!~

I take my limousine to school and arrive early. For me, I'm usually punctual towards everything. Immediately at the entrance, I see Alya, Alix and Mylène. I say good morning to them. As per usual they're also early, I walk over towards Nino. "Hey dude—wassup!" he says while we do our usual handshake. "Nothing much, I'm feeling . . . wonderful today." Nino laughs at that, "Oh? and what's got your feet kicking in the air?" he inquires. I sigh, "Oh, Nino . . . if only I could say it, there's someone that I've been so in awe for..." I look down blushing.

Nino's eyes widen, "Look at you . . . getting over that breakup I see, now who's this someone?" he asks. I look back up and respond, "I'm not going to say, but I feel like this person has such a good understanding of me, and . . . about Kagami, I wanted to thank you." Nino tilts his hat, "Thank me? for what?" he asks jokingly. I continue, "I worked things out with her and, now we're friends again! I couldn't have done it without your guidance so... thanks man, I really appreciate it." Nino smiles and leans on my shoulder, "Adrien—that's awesome! I'm totally happy for you!" I smile back at him. The bell rings, and we head towards the stairs to our first class with Miss Bustier.

I sat there the entire time in class daydreaming about her. There's no other person I wanted to think about. There's no other person that I could think about. Nino seems to be following what the teacher is saying, I look around and see everyone being diligent, then get drawn back to the teacher when she calls out to me.

"Adrien—Adrien are you listening?" She sternly says. I look back to her and automatically repeat what she says, "The lady couldn't be with the gentleman after the toxic affair of wanting to be into the fair lady's arms, so he took it as a way of disintegrated despair, and went off to find a life of his own . . . suffering, while she stayed where she was to live the life in secret." Miss Bustier looks shocked. "W-Well very good Adrien, but please . . . as smart as you are, try to look like you're concentrating." She says while straightening her papers.

The class laughs and I smile at her nervously as Nino nudges me. "Ahem—class dismissed!" Miss Bustier yells. The bell rings over her and I pick up my stuff to move to the next class. I walked with Nino towards science. "So... Adrien, the guys and I were thinking of hanging out tomorrow, I know it's close notice . . . but perhaps since you don't have anything scheduled for tomorrow it could work!" Nino says looking at me. I smile but immediately remember that I do have piano lessons. "I wish I could, but my father... wants me to practice piano that day." Nino frowns, "Well your 'father' can let you breathe!" He grabs my wrist stubbornly walking, "Uh- Nino what're you implying?" Nino let's go and grabs my shoulders. "Adrien, I'm going to do everything in my power to make sure we all get to hangout tomorrow!" I open my mouth silently in response.

"Ohh and what do we have here?" Alya comes from behind us. I notice Marinette isn't with her, but she was in class. "Hey boo~ my boy and I are setting up a date!" Nino says, I look over confused. Alya laughs, "Well then, I assume  this 'date' is guys only?" Nino nods. Alya smiles as she adds on, "If that's the case . . . then I'm hanging out with my girlfriends~ I guess it seems to be . . . your loss." She boops Nino on the nose entering the classroom. "What- hey that doesn't mean I don't want to hangout with you!" Nino yells back, Alya snickers.

I guess they mean hanging out with—friends. Nino let's me go and I look over with a plastered smile. I'm a bit late realizing things . . . so it's best to just support whatever my buddy needs, but still . . . I don't know what I'm going to do tomorrow, it feels like forever since I've actually hangout with everyone, but I guess it would be nice.

❀MARINETTE❀

Throughout the entire class period, all I could do was just . . . stare at Adrien~ I made sure to enter the classroom a little later, but he seems . . . occupied. I wonder what he's thinking about, or maybe... who he's thinking about. The teacher seems kind of irritated that Adrien wasn't paying attention. But as frustrated as she was, he proved her wrong by repeating exactly what she was teaching. It's only obvious that he'd get it all right, he's perfect after all~ and . . . with his studies at home, plus being home schooled for his elementary, and middle school, with extra tutoring, I bet he's tons smarter than anyone like . . . Lila.

I keep zoning out just as everyone was laughing at him, the bell rings and Alya waves her hand in my face. "Girl~ what coocoo fantasy land are you lost in this time? it better not be the one that's right in front of you~" I come back to reality and gasp hitting the table. Adrien and Nino just left.  "Alya! you have to cover for me!" Alya stops packing up her stuff. "What exactly is it that I'm covering?" Alya looks over distraught.

"Okay, this is not an excuse! but . . . I have to go . . ." I think of something, "Meet up with Kagami!" I forge a smile. Alya puts her hand on her face, "Mari—that is an excuse, are you that bent up on talking to Adrien? do you also realize she doesn't get out of school yet? and . . . we're still in school!" The classroom is empty and Miss Bustier goes out for passing period. I wave my hands, "B-But, I need to comfort her . . . she hasn't picked up my phone calls in days! and with Adrien . . . she must be devastated!" Alya puts on her bag, "Marinette, I can assure you that Kagami is fine, in fact she's more than great she-" I put my hands on her mouth, "I don't want to hear it! I'll go... talk to her . . . and you catch up with Nino! everything will be easy-peasy-lemon-squeezy!"

Alya takes my hand off and walks out annoyed. I didn't mean to upset her, but there's no way I can continue class this way and what better way to leave then see what's up with Kagami before anything else!
