𝓢𝓒𝓘𝓔𝓝𝓒𝓔 class continued and all I did was review the material Olga Mendeleiev gave us. I teased Nino a bit and got a laugh out of Adrien. Then I decided to look over towards the girls to see how they were doing, but no matter how much I tried to distract myself, I couldn't shake off the feeling that Marinette is hiding something—and it bothers me.
But what could she possibly have to hide? I've tried to see what was troubling her. But it seems no matter how many times I try to get information... she makes up something to cover it up. I mean what was that? She left so suddenly that it was—concerning . . .
I kept thinking it over again and again and I know it has to do with her breakup. There's no way she'd give up on everything so easily. I just wish . . . I knew what it was. I texted Marinette to let me know how she's doing once she's done doing whatever she's doing.

"She's not responding . . ." I mutter to myself. Nino approaches me, "Who's not responding?" He says, I grab his hat and take it off. "Hey why did you-" I cut him off, "Marinette suddenly ditched, do you know if Adrien has said anything?" Nino grabs his hat back and puts it back on. "Not much, we both wondered where she went but we assumed you would know."
I sigh, "I don't . . ." Nino tried to put his arms around me but I told him no because I don't feel too great right now. He walks back to his seat kind of sad. The bell rings and I walk out with Rose and Juleka. "Alya, is everything okay?" Rose speaks. "Are you guys free later?" Rose looks back at Juleka and they both nod.

"Poor Marinette! How is she able to cope with all of this?" Rose shouts out in Alya's room. "The thing is, I don't she has . . . I think she's still stuck on Luka, but she can't get Adrien's feelings out of the way." I respond in a mellow tone. Alix spins in my chair and says, "Well she can't have both! She has to make a choice . . ." Alix says.
Mylène replies, "Maybe she just needs a little time? Sure she might act weird right now, but who wouldn't after getting their heart crushed . . . " Juleka mumbled something and pulls up a picture on her phone:

"Poor Luka! We have to get them back together !" Rose enlightens. I push up my glasses and think. "But if Marinette is in love with Adrien, how do we get her to love Luka?" Mylène discerns. Alix stands up, "Why don't we just straight up tell Adrien Marinette likes him?" Rose looks at her with wide eyes. "Are you crazy? She'll murder us all if we did that! Besides that's . . . Invalidating her feelings!" Rose strongly says.
We all pause to think for a moment. Alix speaks up again, "Girls, I have a plan, Alya, here—give me your phone." I look back, "What? Why?" Alix's hand reaches out. I frown but . . . I trust her.
She takes my phone and texts Nino while Mylène, Rose, and Juleka hover over it.

Alix gives back my phone. I stare down at it, "Seriously? 'Was it something I said?' Ugh—Alix no! Nino and I . . . got into a little quarrel earlier, I don't think he's going to comply with that." I say annoyingly.
"Well maybe Juleka can talk to her brother?" Rose says and looks at Juleka, "Idontreallythinkthat'sagoodidea." Juleka mumbles back. Alix stares at us blankly. Mylène pulls out a bracket, "Well it was worth a shot, if that doesn't work, how about we make a bracelet for Marinette! Each bead is supposed to hold a part of our friendship!" Mylène goes off to explain more.

We all decided to just lay off and wait for Marinette to reply, while I was going to talk to Nino, so hopefully we can reach out to the both of them. "Okay then it's settled then, we're all going to the park tomorrow?" Alix compiles, "Yes!" we all respond.
We do a group hug and everyone leaves to go back home. I try to call Nino and it automatically goes to voicemail:

I hang up and put hands to my face. I really messed up today . . .
