𝓘𝓣'𝓢 been a few days since I've de-akumatized Alya and told her my identity. At first, you wouldn't believe it! Her investigative-go-to-clingy-attitude completely changed when everything in her head added to the biggest equation of her life! Which is: Aka, Ladybug.

I wasn't sure what to expect after that. But since I have my best-friend on my side. It's been easy to uncover things. Like for one, she was looking more into the charms. She wanted to know if because of my luck the person would have a chance to not get akumatized if there's a way to manage someone's emotions completely enough. . . to be able to rid people of Hawkmoth once and for all.

But that wasn't our only issue, I'd say the fact that he's got the peacock miraculous makes things un-predictable. Of course, no-one else has gotten akumatized these past few days... but Alya and I are trying to prepare for that. So I came up with another thing, perhaps we can start guiding people with illusions she makes into tricking them into happiness again.

But then... the issue with that is we don't know how to make said-people happy. And okay bet if we were to use the snake miraculous, it'd would wear out Luka, and I can't just abuse the power of that.

So as it is, I'm in my room, transformed as Ladybug, trying to add to another journal I have on notes of Hawkmoth. Lucky for me, my bestie is right there keeping an eye on me. And no before you ask, I haven't mentioned the slight-detail that Cat Noir and I dating.

But it'll have to be brought up. I got talk about him so I can figure out what we could do for future strategies.

"Alya... have you noticed anything different since I've de-akumatized you?" I ask her.

She walks over to me with her hands on her hips, "Oh? You mean the slight promotion from being your 'bestie' to your bestie-in-crime-fighting~"

I sigh, "Yeah but that's not the only thing..." I give her the side-eye.

She tries to think for a moment, "You're not talking about... a certain cat are you?"

I can't ever hide anything for her. I was hoping she finally discussed this.

"Yeah Alya... things happened between Cat Noir and I..." I said it, but I'm not too sure if I should've since... she's stuck googily-eyes on Adrien for me.

She blinks, "Girl? I didn't want to say anything without any proof, but as I look through more of my blog these days, I have found 'Ladybug' and 'Cat Noir' to be especially close~"

I put down my notes and look over to her as she leans into me. "Alright fine, Cat Noir and I... very recently started to date."

She pushes up her glasses and jumps up, "I knew it! I knew I see a ship sail even before it's departed, but fyi you do realize hot-stuff has been your other mission."

I smile weakly as I remember that it probably wasn't the best idea to have them set me up when I'm with someone. "Look Alya, I can't lie that I still love Adrien. But, after being with Luka, I realized that love like that... wasn't for me. So... as obvious as it was, I decided to give Cat Noir a try... and I would've told you guys... if it wasn't for the slight-tincy-binciest-thing . . . that I was: Ladybug."

She laughs, "That was very sneaky of you... but I get that I didn't make it any easier after pushing you guys together, I was just . . . trying to look out for you."

I put my hand on her shoulder and lean to the side, "I always appreciate you, and that's why... since I've revealed my identity, I'd say it's the best choice I've made this far."

She pulls me into a hug, "Good—girl, I wouldn't have any other way, but don't think you're getting away that easy, you have to tell me all the deets, I won't accept anything less~"

I laugh, and smirk at her, "Okay Mrs Sherlock Holmes, but just so you know... I'm not sure how long we'll last... I thought about already breaking up with him."

She turns serious, "But I thought you just told me you got together?"

I pat my hands down and get off her shoulder, "Yeah we did... but I don't know I just got, shaken with the thought of seeing Luka and Adrien as friends, since to me.. they're both . . . you know..."

She looks at me with a concerned look in her eye bringing her brow up, "You know?"

I sigh and try to change the topic, "Look I'm gonna be with Cat Noir a bit longer, and most importantly, in order to do that, I have to find him. We're lucky enough that there hasn't been an Akuma attack but he's still missing! He's not out on patrol, he hasn't answered anything of my calls and . . . I don't know..." I look down in defeat.

She looks to the side and then back at me, "Okay girl, don't worry about the Cat, let's worry about Adrien. I have news on him at least."

I look up in interest, "Is he okay? Did Nino say something? Was it his father? I mean lock-down happened and..."

She cuts me off, "Calm down! Mari he's fine, yes his dad went a little crazy in the head and locked him up in his house, but he should be back at school tomorrow, so I'm sure you can talk to him then."

I sigh in relief, "I'm glad... but you know I still have trouble speaking to him."

She smiles, "No worries, I'll be your communicator, they may not be able to understand your alien-coded-speech but me girl? I'm fluent all the way!"

I laugh at that and hug her again. What would I do—without her?
