-PRESENT-

Watching the training session was fun! All the moves, all of it! Yes-even Raph looked pretty cool. As much of an ass he is. After the training they all went back into the living room while Splinter wanted to have some alone time.

"In, chottomattekudasai?" Splinter asked her, making her turn around and walk back.
Translation: Yin, a moment please?

"Sorehanandesuka?" Yin tilted her head.
Translation: What is it?

"I want to ask you something: from the stories you were told about your father passing away, did you believe any of them?"

That caught her off guard. "I...I guess not. I don't know why, I was just always suspicious."

"And you say your dad was always careful with his work?" His ears swiveled.

"Yes! Totally, that's a no-brainer", Yin shrugged.

"As time goes on, you must learn who killed your father. It's a journey that will be hard, but we will be with you every step of the way."

"Thank you." She gave him a hug and he accepted.

She left the dojo and saw Donnie go into his lab. Eh, I'll see what he's up to. I still can't be in the same room Raph is at the moment. Yin walked in and saw him working on...mutagen?

"What's with the mutagen?" Yin asked as she walked over.

"Hm? Oh, hi!" Donnie exclaimed. "I'm trying to work on an antidote."

"For...this thing?" She's staring at this frozen blob with organs in a can.

"Yeah." He sounded sad. "He was originally human. We found him first when he was confronting a gang called The Purple Dragons and when things weren't looking good for him...we stepped in to save him. He wanted to hang around so I..."

He explained away. "...He accidentally swallowed some mutagen I was working on. And...and he froze."

Yin stared at him, her doe eyes shining. "It's okay! Will it? I mean, how long have you been working on it?"

"Far too long", he sighed as he sat back in his chair. "There's something I'm not getting."

Yin looked around. "Do you spend a lot of time in here?"

"Yeah, I haven't as much as I usually do. Not much motivation." Donnie sounded deflated.

"What's wrong?" She tilted her head.

She looks cute when she does that. Bro, not the time! "It's just that I wish I found the problem already and I could fix him!"

Yin flinched. "I..."

"Oh, I'm sorry", Donnie ran a hand down his face. "I'm just stressed.."

"That's okay", she gave a cute grin. "Is there...anything I can do to help?"

"Sure! See this?" He has written down on paper 'Kraang's Next Project'. "Can you write down everything you know about it?"

Yin cracked her knuckles. "Well, of course! I can write you all about it!" She winked, sat down next to him, and began writing.

Donnie looked away quickly and continued what he was doing so he didn't explode. She's so pretty! He didn't think he'd be this quick to fall for her...but he has. After Donnie calmed down his heart from beating a million miles a minute, he went to go get some food for them.

"Yin is still with you, right?" Leo asked as he saw his brother exit his lab.

"Yep! She's writing me everything she knows about the Kraang's next project." He gave a sly smile towards Raph. "But someone doesn't need to know!"
