-TCRI, THE BATTLE-

Both Yin and Shredder displayed their hatred for one another just by how vicious their attacks were. Yin was stronger, so was he. Shredder would never dare say his thoughts aloud...but he is mildly alarmed at how much she's grown as whole being: strength, wisdom, maturity.

Both of them are driven by hatred, they have one thing on their minds: to end each other once and for all. But Yin-she has other reasons to fight...her friends, her new family, her home.

"It's gonna take more than making me lose my eyesight in one eye to kill me!", Yin screamed in anger, kicking high but missing, quickly recovering.

"I will do so much more than just taking an eye, girl", Shredder snarled, charging at her fast, smacking her to the wall. "I will end you!"

Yin shakily stood up, fighting the pain in her back. "You're gonna have to try hard to kill me-because I have people that love me to back me up! You...you just have so many years of hatred towards a man who wanted nothing but the best for you! And all you did was take his beloved wife away! You monster!"

Anger made the pain subside in Yin, and she got out her rope dart and put all her adrenaline into it. "I'd love to see you go to Hell for the shit that you've caused."

Shredder laughed coldly. "If Hamato Yoshi could only see that his beloved Tang Shen loved me more all those years ago-then she would've lived!" He hit her and sent her flying into a wall.

On shaky legs, she stood back up, from fighting off the pain that shot up her spine. "So the only way to get back at him was to kill her!?" She snarled, attacking again.

"She was a fool to get in my way", he lashed out back, dodging her every move. "Just like you!"

Yin's eyes widened. For the first time in awhile, during a fight, she...she froze. She couldn't move. Her eyes widened in fear. Blind eyes display emotion too-just not that well. Shredder's metal points on his skin grew, and he grew bigger, more bulky and strong. Is this how I'm going to die? Not seeing my friends again? Yin was scared, she was very afraid. Her knees gave out and she dropped to them on the ground as she looked up at the evil monster standing over her.

Yin couldn't even cry. She...she can't even do anything.

"Ha. Pathetic", Shredder rasped out, putting one of his metal talons under her chin to tilt her head up more. "You can't even fight me now."

"I want nothing more than to see you be defeated", Yin spat, her fangs catching light. "I want to see your guts plastered on the chrome so everyone can see how evil you were-inside. And out."

"Get your hands away from Yin, Shredder!" A familiar voice in blue shouted from behind Shredder.

"I will not let you take away my second child!" That was Splinter.

"G-Guys..." Yin choked, which Shredder's hand found a way around her neck. "Help...me."

"Step no further if you want your precious human to live", Shredder threatened.

Both Leo and Splinter froze. It seems like all of time froze, at this point. There was one thing: what they didn't know, is that some people had a surprise of their own.

"Boo-ya-kasha!!" That was Mikey and Casey! They came down from above and knocked Shredder to the ground, giving Yin a chance to flee.

Coughing and hacking, Yin limped as fast as she could to her friends. "L-Leo... Splinter... W-Where is everyone else?"

"They're about two floors down", Splinter spoke swiftly as they got moving right away, Leo carrying her. "We must get to them. You have to leave with Slash and Leatherhead."

"B-But, I can't!" Yin cried. "I made a promise to myself and everyone that it would be me that would end Shredder once and for all."

"I'm not letting someone I care about risk their life one too many times!" Leo fretted. "There comes a point in time where enough is enough, Yin... Please. Don't kill yourself like this!"

Yin hung her head, shoulders sagging. "I know..."

"Your time will come, my dear", Splinter said, watching her as Leo passed her on to Leatherhead, Slash standing beside him. "And we will be with you every step of the way."

And with that-Slash and Leatherhead made a mad dash out of the building. Even when they had gotten outside, Yin didn't look away from TCRI until she couldn't see the building anymore.
