"Mrs Reyna." A lady says, walking into our room...or Aiyden's room, I'm unsure as to who's room it is now.
"Yes?"
"Mr King wanted me to tell you that dinner is ready."
"Thank you." I say and she nods in acknowledgement before leaving.
I like how she said Mrs Reyna and not Mrs King, I wonder if that's Anatoly's doing after our conversation last night about me not wanting to take his last name.
"I wonder where Aiyden could possibly be?" I say out loud so he can hear me. We're playing hide and seek.
I swing open the curtain. "Boo." I shout.
He giggles and tries to run but I sweep him into my arms and tickle him. His small, infectious giggles fill the room and I start laughing too.
When I place him back on the floor he's still laughing.
"See, I told you we should've used Anatoly's full house for hide and seek and not just this room." He says.
"I would've never found you." I state.
"That's the whole point." He says sassily.
"We're playing hide and seek not lose the child." I say and Aiyden giggles again.
He opens the bedroom door.
"Hey, where are you going?" I ask.
"Dinner is ready." He states. "And all that hiding has made me real hungry."
I roll my eyes. "Let's go." I say, taking his hand and walking through the halls. I'm starting to get the hang of this place. I know where the main places I need to get to are.
When we get to the dining room Anatoly is already sat the head of the table waiting for us to arrive. I pull out the chair next to him and the one beside that and lift Aiyden to sit on one of them. I sit on the chair inbetween Anatoly and Aiyden.
Two more places are set opposite us.
"Expecting company?" I ask Anatoly.
"Just Leo and Valentina." He says crossing his arms and leaning back in his chair. "I heard Leo was teaching you how to horse ride earlier."
"Yeah, he was teaching me the basics."
"Horse ride? There are horses here?" Aiyden asks, looking at me for clarification.
"Yes, Anatoly has horses."
"I also have a pet li-" Anatoly starts.
"No you don't." I intterupt. There's no way Aiyden is going anywhere near that thing.
"What we're you gonna say?" Aiyden asks.
"He was only joking." I lie. I forgot that thing was out there. It gives me the creeps.
