Anatoly's POV:

"Anatoly." I faintly hear someone call my name.

That's strange.

The voice sounded so distant yet so familiar.

I stop what I'm doing and take out the gun from the second drawer down in my desk before cautiously making my way into the hall.

My eyes scan both ends of the corridor and they're clear of anything or anyone out of the ordinary.

I peek my head around the corner and that's when I see her.

She's covered in blood. Even in my line of buissness, I've never seen so much red in my life and that's saying something. It looks worse than a murder scene. There's a trail of blood leading to her unmoving body.

I rush to her side. I pay no mind to the pool of blood that soaks my clothes as I sit by her.

"Reyna?" I say in a worried voice as I turn her over. There's too much blood everywhere to see where exactly the blood is coming from but I figure I have the right place when I press down on her abdomen and she groans quietly in response. "Reyna? Reyna, are you awake?"

There's no answer. The only reason I even know she's still alive is because of her shallow breathing and the rise and fall of her chest.

She's lost so much blood. She looks so pale, ghostly even she doesn't look like herself, she looks so ill.

I cradle her head to my chest.

"Help." I shout as loud as I can, hoping someone can help me.

I don't know what to do. How could I have let this happen? I was meant to protect her.

"Help." I scream again. I can barely breath from the thought of losing her.

She's not dying. I can't live in a world without her.

"Reyna." I try again. "Reyna, darling, wake up." I beg.

I take a few breaths to try and calm myself but I can't stop my erratic heart.

I need to get her to the doctor. I know I shouldn't really move her but I'm wasting vital time just sitting here with her. She's losing too much blood.

I pull her closer into my chest and slowly stand with her unconscious body in my arms.

"Ow." I hear her faint voice mumble.

"Reyna?" I say, my eyes flicking down to her as I hurriedly walk to the doctors office.

"It hurts." She mumbles, her eyes sealed shut.

"I know, darling, I know."

"You're pressing too hard, it hurts too much." She mumbles.

I know it's just the pain talking. "You said that if it doesn't hurt you're not pressing hard enough." I state.

"I killed him." She whispers, ignoring my previous statement.
