KOU
—❁—

Ever since the other night, I've had a voided feeling down in my stomach occupying it endlessly.

It was now the evening of the Halloween party, and I could tell Sousuke was beyond excited.

"Kou! Can you come here and help me!" Sousuke calls out from the bathroom, and I glance in the mirror on Sousuke's side of the room before fixing my hair and heading to the bathroom. I then stopped in the doorway and looked at him, "What's up?" "I need an extra pair of hands, can you do me a favor really quick and just hold this piece of hair in place?" "Oh, yeah sure." I walk up behind him and do as best as I can to hold the strand of pink hair in place so that he can fix the rest of it. "Where's your tie?" He looks at me through the mirror before setting a bobby-pin between his lips. "I was going to wait to put it on, at least until we left." He smiles and holds his hand back over his shoulder, signaling for me to let go of the strand of hair I was keeping ahold of. "Can you get that halo for me off my bed?" "Yeah." I nod before walking out of the bathroom and getting the thing for him, taking it back to him. "Thanks for being so helpful, I wanted to go all out so the extra pair of hands is great." "No worries.. I'm happy to help." I give him a soft smile before silently watching him put the finishing touches of makeup on his face. "Uh—" I quickly snap out of it and look down out the dress he was wearing as I raise my eyebrows, then draw my attention out of the room over at the tie laying out on my bed.

I had decided to go with the badass spy idea, while Mitsuba went with a dark angel costume that he doctored up to fit his style better. He had some black arm warmers on as well as some matching black leg warmers paired over some black platformed boots with bat wings on them. He looked so totally badass and totally hit the whole "dark angel look" nail right on the head, and then some. Me on the other hand, I'll probably have to end up telling people what I'm meant to be since I just look like I'm wearing a suit with some sunglasses.

"Before we leave we have to get some pictures. We both look great!" Sousuke smiles and closes his lipgloss up before turning and looking at me. "Let me get your tie and help you with it." I nod as he leaves the bathroom and comes back with my tie in his hands. "You look nice in a suit, maybe you can sell some stocks to some people if you get lucky." "Very funny.." I stare down at him while he ties my tie flawlessly, admiring him quietly. "There, now let me get my phone and we can get these pictures and then be on our way." He smiles and grabs my arm, walking me out of the bathroom and letting go of me once I was in front of his full length mirror. "We'll be showstoppers." My eyes follow him as he puts his angel wings on and grabs his phone, walking back over to me and standing in front of me. "You more than me probably. What should I do? I don't know how mirror selfies work."I pull my sunglasses down from my head and put them over my eyes. That was then when I felt Sousuke grab my hand closest to him and bring it around to his waist, making my arm go completely around him.

"Just pose and look like a spy." I raise my eyebrows and glance down at him. "Really? How am I mean to—" He smiles and poses before looking into his phone screen. "Just hush and pose." "Uhh.." I gulp before posing like a spy the best I can before looking at Sousuke as he poses for another photos. "Now let me get one of you with my camera." "Woha now, I thought we were just taking the ones on your phone?" "How can I not take any with my camera?" "Answering my question with a question.. fair enough." He hands me his phone and goes over to his school bag down beside his bed, digging around for his camera case. "How many more photos do you need?" "I can't give an exact number right now. Trust me, I'm gonna be taking them all night. I'm just getting started." He smiles at me over his shoulder before continuing to dig, eventually getting his camera out. "I won't take group ones, just some of you.. I could tell the mirror selfies made you nervous." I watch him bring the camera up to his face before quickly shielding my face. "Wait a minute!" Sousuke begins softly laughing. "Let me see, smile!" I feel him start to grab my face so he can try and get me to look at the camera. "Okay okay!" I pull my hands away from my face before bringing my shades down from my head again. "Stand back so I can pose and look cool." Sousuke smiles and backs up. "Okay, let's see it." I then bring my fingers up to resemble a gun and grab that hand with my other hand. Mitsuba laughed at my efforts of trying to look tough as he snapped a picture. "Just a second! Don't move!" He exclaims and sets the printed out photo down on our desk. "Let me get a couple more—" "I think it's safe to say that you're my first paparazzi ever." I pull my sunglasses down a bit and peek over the top as he snaps a photo of my face looking down from my forehead. He then took another of me posing before handing me his camera. "Take some of me while I'm still sober and beautiful!"I hold the camera up to my eyes as Sousuke poses, snapping a photo immediately. "Let's see those wings." I smile and wait for him to turn around before snapping another photo, and then I snap one more of his face in all of its glory. "Three for three, so it's fair." He smiles and takes his camera back from me. "Now we can develop these tomorrow, as well as the others I get at the party!" I softly smile and pull my sunglasses up onto my head again. "I dunno if you should take it, Sousuke. Your camera I mean—it could get broken or stolen." "No it won't, it's okay.." "Nah, let me take mine instead." I walk over to my bag and pull my shit camera out of it, handing it over to him. "It should be full of film, I've only touched it once since I got it." Sousuke smiles up at me before taking it. "Thanks, I'll pay you back with a good time at the party. Now let's go before everyone gets worried!" He quickly grabs his shoulder bag and sets the camera inside of it, walking to the door. "I'm going to leave my keys here since I doubt I'm more responsible than you are, so I'm trusting you." I follow him out of the dorm and shut the door behind us, locking it. "You got it, I have work tomorrow anyway so I won't be doing anything too crazy." "Give me permission to use that against you if things go bad." I smile, looking at him as we walk to the elevator on our floor. "Sure, but you saying that shit about still being sober sounds like foreshadowing to something terrible." He grins and looks up at the floor number as it decreases. "I was only kidding, you should lighten up." "Trust me.. I'm lightened up just the right amount." We then walked out to the parking lot, where we got in my car and continued to the place that this party was being held.
