Athena, or Camponotus Floridanus Mentis Alveari Sapien, is a species of Bug Man hailing from Bug World. She is both an individual and a species that exists in infinite worlds. She is known to be the deadliest and most invasive species of bug in the entire Multiverse. She is a knight of the Aswang Prince. She was trained and raised by Prometheus himself and made to only answer to him and those he authorized for her to answer to.

History

In the year 1973, or 2008 in Main World, Athena was born as a relatively new species of Bug Man that descended from the Carpenter Ant family. She was discovered and taught her the secrets of the Eyes of Infinity as a maggot by Prometheus and was carefully raised by himself.

As a maggot, Prometheus placed the first of the colony, the Founding Athena, in a glass tank and would feed her like his own child, shrinking himself to raise her properly. Athena would then fully grow after one year and give birth to her clones which she shares a hive mind with. Thus, Athena exists as a psychic link with the bodies given birth by the first Athena.

From 1973-1987, Athena was made to act as Prometheus' foot soldiers, invading thousands of worlds and even becoming an invasive species to feed herself. So, Prometheus' solution for this was to colonize and terraform several abandoned worlds for Athena to enter. As their population grows, Prometheus would solve the problem by continuously colonizing solar systems, even going so far as colonizing the galaxy just to keep the Athena population at ease.

Population

Athena has a population of 13.5 septillion existing in thousands of solar systems, including a few recently conquered star systems in Main World.

Appearance

Athena seems to have the body of a humanoid ant with black feminine eyes with hairs similar to eyelashes, four feminine black limbs, two antennae, two headtails that look like hair, and an abdomen area.

Mortality and Lifespan

Athena is technically immortal and will exist for eternity, since according to Prometheus, the universe is eternal. Her clones exist no matter what, but her clones do only live for less than a year. Aging Athena clones are transported to the Elderly World, which is a home for Elderly Athena clones and taken care by younger Athena nurse clones.

Evolution

Athena is a sentient evolution from the Carpenter Ant Family. She evolved very recently and descended from a non hive mind species prior to Prometheus' adoption of her.

Reproduction

Athena is invasive because she does not need males to reproduce. She simply gives birth 24/7 from a certain unknown set of universes known as Nursery Worlds where she is born, harvested, and trained to be soldiers of Prometheus.

Life Cycle

Athena clones are born as humanoid maggots, hatching from eggs her own clones give birth. She would then be raised in the Nursery Worlds, which are star systems found all over the Milky Way galaxy. When they are one month old, they use the technology given to them by Prometheus, mini-portal watches, to open portals to the worlds they are assigned to.

Behavior

Athena is surprisingly happy-go-lucky. She would do anything her authorized commander tells her to do. She is a kind-hearted and lovely person who would do anything to serve her father and family.

Culture

Athena came from a race of sentient Carpenter Ants that herd tiny cows known as aphids. They also learned how to use their bodies to become temporary bridges which they learned from fire ant rival species. They are also known to have learned how to weave silk from rival weaver ant colonies which they use for clothes and building material, wherein they not only domesticated silk worms but also a certain species of orb weaver spider. They also learned to farm fungi for vegetables, seed storing for the harsh winters, technology usage, and high intelligence as combatants. Athena is nearly unstoppable and un-killable if it weren't for Prometheus. They are also known to make honey which they farm from wild bees that they managed to domesticate. They also use termites to carve wooden tools.

They domesticated spiders, aphids, bees, silk worms, butterflies, flies, termites, and beetles. They also domesticated mice, geckos, beetles, spiders, wasps, centipede, and kangaroo rats for cavalry and pack animals. They also domesticated slime molds to act as road creation.

Food

Athena usually eats fungi, honey, leaves, fly maggots, caterpillars, flies, and beetles. But they are able to eat just about anything. They especially like sugary food.
